My fluid comes in a bottle with a pump dispenser. I love it. I really do see that the oiliness is less prominent when I’m using it. It doesn’t leave my skin dry or uncomfortable. I use two pumps, sometimes I apply third pump after 5-10 minuts, just before I start with my makeup routine. I use salycilic acid without any moistruizers on my face before I go to sleep so my skin is thirsty in the morning.
The fluid is perfect for summer. It’s thin, absorbs fast, doesn’t leave any residue, you can use it as a make-up base, too, works great with any foundation (tried: Bobbi Brown, MAC, Giorgio Armani, Nars, YSL). I can’t stop raving about it. I’ve tried (for oily skin): La Roche Posay, Nivea, Afreodita, Balea, Garnier (Moisture Match), Clinique (Dramatically Different Lotion+) and Yves Rocher (the cucumber one). Neither one worked so good, except the Yves Rocher one which is the best among the listed, but not better than Avene’s.
I really do recommend anyone who needs a oil free moistruizer: from normal to very oily skin, especially now that it’s summer.
Why I like it: light, great as base, hydrating, no residue, not a gel, thin in consistency, packaging/pump, fresh feeling, great oil control, foundation doesn’t slip/break on me, no allergic reaction, comfortable
In combination with Max Factor’s primer I can use ANY foundation!
