Used it for about 1.5 years but it was definitely not great for my skin which is very sensitive and prone to dry patches.
Immediately after applying, it caused mild irritation/redness (especially around my lips). I started to regard it as normal (because I really wanted this moisturiser to work) but my boyfriend would point it out at times. It left the skin feeling sticky – a nightmare if applying right before bed. I thought it felt moisturising enough although the hydration certainly did not last for too long. I did have dry patches despite using it. Or, now that I think about it, I think this moisturiser might actually have caused them as it was simply too harsh for my skin.
One aspect that I really did like was how well it worked with blemishes. I think the antibacterial properties really helped to prevent breakouts. Also, whenever I did get a blemish, I used to apply lots of the product on it and it really helped with the redness and the general appearance of the blemish. This is slightly unconventional, I know, but it worked wonders for me (usually overnight).
So while I would not recommend to use it as an overall moisturiser for sensitive skin, it could work really well as a spot treatment.

This is my HG moisturiser, it’s light but hydrating and really helps to balance skin.
A little goes a long way with this moisturiser, so you don’t need to much. A tube lasts a good 5/6 months for me – that’s using it everyday!
Its silky and lightweight texture hydrates skin, it feels clean rather than heavy and helps to unclog pores – the Manuka honey & purified bee venom act to kill off blemishes, both are anti inflammatory & anti bacterial. It works by reducing bacteria on the skin, which can help to clear up spots.
It does help, and whilst I still get spots, they aren’t as angry or cystic as they once were. They certainly don’t hang around too long either when I use this in conjunction with Manuka Doctor’s blemish cream.
I’ve repurchased this three times now, it’s definitely my favourite moisturiser!
