I LOVE my origins eye cream. Swear by it. So naturally I chose to assume this product would be just as beneficial to my skin because of it’s brand name. WRONG. This made me break out within two days! My face now looks like it did when I was a teenager playing sports – small red pimples ALL OVER and a few of the big ones here and there. This is the first product that has ever made me break out, so beware. Does it moisturize? Yes-ish (from what I could tell), but I’d choose to be dry with no breakouts all day every day.

I don’t find this to be very moisturizing. It tends to sit on my skin rather than sinking in. Overall, is very similar to A Perfect World.

This is a really great moisturizer for those with dry skin. I reach for this product when I notice dry patches on my forehead, and cheeks. It instantly rids my skin of dryness and the moisture really does last. I don’t use it on the oily areas of my skin- chin. I would repurchase it in the future.

This was awful for my oily/combination, sensitive skin. It’s really heavily scented and after using this about 5 times in total, my skin started to break out all over. I usually only get spots in my t-zone, but this made me break out on my cheeks and neck too.
Looking at the Origins website, this does appear to be aimed at those with dry, dehydrated skin in need of deep level moisturisation, which is probably the reason why my skin reacted so badly to it. But having said that, I got this as part of a set following a consultation with an Origins representative, so you’d have thought she would have included this because she thought it was what my skin needed.
Due to the disappointing results I experienced with this, I didn’t finish the 50ml tube I had and definitely wouldn’t be tempted to purchase any more in the future, especially as it costs £34.50!
