Pros,
Smells like jasmine
Very luxurious
Balm like texture, reminds me of Aquaphor
Very hydrating, its def an occlusive
Great if you do chem peels
Cons,
Price
Sticky
Never really sets
Very heavy
Hard to blend, have to use more than needed and it ends up being very oily
I own the Magic Cream and Eye Rescue eyecream, both i love and use daily. This however i wasnt too crazy about. Thank god i only got a generous sample. I think mainly my concern is i dont like the way it feels or sits ln my skin. I much prefer something that sinks into the skin like the Magic Cream. I dont care for the jasmine smell but it does smell pretty. This is a very luxurious balm cream that will feel super nourishing. It literally reminds me of Aquaphor or Aveeno Ezcema Therapy Balm. I wont be purchasing the full size. If you suffer from flaking dry skin then i do recommend getting a sample but personally this is way too occlusive for me. A little def goes a long way but its so hard to blend i end up having to use more. I have combo sensitive skin and this did not irritate my skin.

Agree with 8Ball in that it is very moisturising for that “mature” skin. I live in a humid climate at the moment and I use very little of this cream at night. A tiny amount is enough. Pat it deeply into your skin, neck and décolleté. Yes it does have a slight tacky feel in the morning but I don’t remove it. Simply apply my tinted moisturiser and I am on my way. I received a generous portion as a sample, for 12 nights or so. Once I am finished, not sure I will spend the $145. But then I might. I have spent more on La Mer.

This cream should come with better instructions. It so sad to read how people have such bad experience with it probably due to applying it wrong. Take a spatula and only take the smallest amount, like half a pea size. Then warm its up between your fingers and gently pat it on your face. If you can somehow spread a layer, you took way too much. I never have a sticky feeling and no hear sticks to my face or what so ever.
I use the cream like this and it helped my skin so much and never broke me out, unlike so many other products.
It is really hydrating and it calmed some really terrible redness and irritation caused by a cleanser and also vanished all the flaky skin on my forehead. I would have NEVER thought that a cream by a makeup artist could perform so well on my very problematic skin. I tend to always end up with a break out or a reaction and need to pass the gem to a friend. Not with this one. I ended up purchasing the full size which will last me one year for sure.

Yes this is heavy and you do need to apply it correctly however, I noticed my face is brighter and looks younger. This is not for a younger woman. Use a simple moisturizer if you do not like heavy creams or use less of the product.

This is my first review ever and this says a lot!! I got this as a sample first and OMG – this is absolutely life changing!! My skin is oily-combination (and probably severely dehydrated) and in the winter months it flakes on my cheeks and around my nostrils and temples. When I first used it I couldn’t believe how plump and healthy my skin looked in the morning! I did not realize (at first) that this was actually „magic“ and thought that I might have just one of these rare „good skin days“. Well… the same miracle happened five days in a row – this is how long this tiny sachet lasted me… I just realized what had made the whole difference when the sample was gone and I had gone back to my normal routine. So I went back to the CT counter to ask for another sample – it really WAS the magic night cream that had made the difference. YES, it IS sticky! YES – the smell IS something you have to get used to. YES – your significant other might not like it. YES, it IS expensive- VERY EXPENSIVE!! There are so many reasons not to splurge on it! BUT: the key to this is to use only the tiniest amount, otherwise it will stick to your hair/ pillows etc. As I told you above, the sample lasted me for FIVE days, this means that the 50ml will probably last me about a year!!
Don’t expect it to completely sink in before the next morning… Maybe I’m not offended by this because I got used to using Korean Sleeping Packs during my skincare journey – they are much heavier!
This product really makes a difference!! I tried so hard to keep myself from buying it, but I finally gave in… and I‘m so happy I did!!

I love this product. I have very sensitive skin and none of her products break me out. I would not buy it again because of the cost. Very pricey. I do agree with others that it is very sticky and doesn’t glide on your face but it cause me zero skin issues.

I love the effects this product gives me, I wake up with perfectly hydrated and balanced skin in the morning, however it is beyond uncomfortable to use in your routine. The texture is so sticky, like honey, and it doesn’t sink in at all. I’ve found the best way to use this is with wet hands over straight over the top of a facial spray, as this gives the product more slip to smear across the face, without some of the extra hydration it’s just so hard to apply. The packaging is gorgeous and the creams look great on my nightstand but it’s honestly such a hassle to use despite the perfectly lovely effects.

Bad. Really bad. I just tried a sample of this – it is uncomfortably thick and doesn’t sink in. Also, it doesn’t smell great. I lasted only a few minutes before my skin started itching and had to take it off. I have dry skin so thought this would be great – but no. Back to Kat Burki for me x

I love this cream. I’m on my second or third jar of it. It’s the only night cream that has ever kept the dry patches on my face moisturized through the night. I have dry, dehydrated skin that requires serious moisture. I totally get all the negative reviews, unfortunately. The texture of this cream is like smearing honey on your face. It’s not the easiest to work with. I’ve found it works the best when I use a pea-sized amount on my fingertips mixed with a few drops of either hyaluronic acid, or squalene, or Marula oil, or rosehip oil, or camellia oil. A few drops of one of the above and the texture becomes smooth and blendable. My skin is soft, smooth, happy and moisturized by morning. Love love love and will continue to buy. I also love CT day cream and eye cream.

OMG… horrible! It’s sticky and sits on the skin, does not spk into skin at all. Horrible to touch the face after application and how in earth would you sleep with this on your face. Not a comfortable feeling at all to have on your face/skin. I only tried it because received a sample with a order. I WOULD NEVER PURCHASE THIS. Sorry but it’s awful. Makes me wonder do these beauty gurus that bring out such products actually try it themselves before launching. Would not recommend.
