This was a bit too heavy and I feel this, like the cleanser, contributed to breakouts. The jar packaging doesn’t bother me so much, but, the cream did start to smell horrible after being open for only a few weeks.

I have quite dry skin really but I find this normal/combination moisturiser to be hydrating enough for my skin. It’s been my favourite moisturiser for a long time now. I really like the fact that Liz Earle does not try to sell me 2 different moisturisers for day and night, and I find that this is light enough to wear under make up but moisturising enough to give a good dose of hydration over night. I think that’s what I like best about it. When you take that into concideration I think it’s pretty good value as most brands want you to buy 2 different pots, which does irritate me a little! I use the cleanse and polish, toner spritz, deep cleansing mask and this moisturiser (I’ve reviewed them all if your interested!) and I think the scent and feel of the products lends themselves particularly well to a weekend pamper session/DIY facial, but I do use this moisturiser most days. I’ve repurchased many times and I’m sure I will continue

So after using this for about 2 weeks I noticed I came up in lots of itchy red bumps all over my face! My chin, my nose, my forehead! Discontinued this immediately and they all went away! My skin is quite sensitive but don’t usually react this bad to a new product. Will not be repurchasing as I think the natural ingredients are too rich for my skin.
The texture of it is also quite thick and not easily to apply and it dries quickly and made my skin feel quite tight but soft at the same time. Odd product.
