It works on my combination skin

This cream is greasy on my combi skin, it doesn’t balance anything and it just sits on top. But Lavera is a wonderfrul brand and has a lot of great products. I won’t repurchase this one though.

This is a good cream. It moisturises well, doesn’t break me out and, whilst most perfumed products make me want to heave, has the loveliest scent. It is a reasonable price as well.
I try to stick to simple moisturisers, if possible organic, as I have blepharitis on my eyelids and too many chemicals are irritating so this cream is perfect.

My skin is a combination of normal/oily with some dry patches. I have used this daily for the past few months, and I really like it.
However, it can make your skin look a little oily, but it’s easy to wipe off. It does not moisturize my dry patches enough, so I use another cream for that (Weledas Skinfood).
The scent is great, and reminds me af a summerday 🙂

I bought this because I found it on clearance at Target, and I’m always up for trying new natural skincare items. I would buy this again for the smell alone. It smells like an orange creamsicle with a touch of lemon. Its a basic light moisturizer, nothing miraculous. I wouldn’t use it in the winter, but it’s working well for me now. I haven’t noticed any breakouts since using it.

I wanted to like this product but it just didn’t do it for me. I found it was a little greasy and it didn’t moisturize enough. I also found it made my pores look huge…
I would not buy it again.

This is good for moisturizing the dry areas of my combination skin, but it has a tendency of making my ultrasensitive forehead oilier than it already is. But I can see it working on certain people though.

I think we need a maybe option in the ‘would you buy this product again?’ category. Simply because I can’t make my mind up about this product. I mean I want to like it. It looks nice in a tube. I read the ingredients and I think yay! natural product. I like the smell, like a sugary lemon sorbet. It applies evenly, it feels soft and matte. The thing is I’ve only tried this in a couple of samples and I’m so undecided whether to upgrade to a whole tube. I’ll be honest the only natural/organic product I’ve liked first time round and saw real results with is the organic pharmacy but they’re much more expensive. So I’m left some what in the middle with lavera skincare. (The deos’ are very good). So it’s getting a ho-hum review. Nothing bad but nothing great.

I tried this product after attending an ‘organic’ products workshop. They pointed out all the ‘toxic’ chemicals in many skin care products – and I got scared.
I agree that this cream gives a good mattifying effect – with no oily residue afterwards. It moisturises relatively well – but does not have any other benefits, lines didn’t disappear, acne still present. Consequently, I went and bought the “mint line” version of this cream for acne prone skin- (another review)

I love this stuff! I dont exactly have combination skin, I’m definitely more on the side of oily/acne prone skin but when I saw that this cream had mattifying qualities I decided to try it to help reduce shine.
Well it worked, and I use it under my foundation daily! I have the kind of skin where I can cake on my foundation in the morning and by lunch time its practically gone. The calendula balancing cream not only helps my foundation stay put but prevents the shine that haunts my tzone. I would definitely buy this product again, and it smells fantastic too!
