I have come to love this lotion. Its states on the bottle that its specifically for face, neck, and hands, but I use it on décolletage and stomach as well. It was developed by a chemist, Jane May Graves for her mother when she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The ingredient list is short, vegan, and organic: Purified Water, Organic Avocado Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Raspberry Seed Oil, Coenzyme Q10, Sea Buckthorn Extract, Vitamin B3, Bearberry Extract, Papaya Extract, Organic Aloe, Non-GMO Sunflower Seed Lecithin, Allantoin, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Olive Leaf Extract, Cocoa Butter, Non-Soy Vitamin E, Rosemary Extract, Organic Essential Oils.

At first i was very meh about it. I ordered the unscented version. The scent is very discarded-raw-almond-shells to me, but disappears immediately. A light yellow lotion of medium thickness that smooths on easily and absorbs quickly. Didn’t excite me or make we look forward to using it the way my L’Occitane Divine Creme does (which is what i was looking to replace with something more economical but worked as well). I kept using it on just my face and neck in the morning before my usual tinted SS (emerginC) for a few weeks, then went back to the L’Occitane. Thought I’d use this up on my chest and abdomen, so continued with that for about a month.
Well…one day I started getting dressed in front of the mirror and actually looked up. I was stunned. The “Clint Eastwood” lines across my abdomen (you know…the ones that were the first sign Clint was getting older, but he still took his shirt off, God bless him…those ones) had diminished considerably. I was shocked and thrilled. So I immediately started using it again on face, neck, and chest. Its been 6 months now, and its done wonders. Every place I use it is smoother, with the most visible results on my neck and abs. My face is noticeably smoother as well, meaning less crinkly on the sides of my face where I tend to be crepey when my skin is dehydrated. I’ve reordered the coconut version, which has the same ingredients, but is lightly coconut scented, which for me makes it more pleasant to use. The coconut scent is pretty true, very mild, and also disappears immediately.
It comes in a glass pump bottle thats pretty enough for dressing table. One pump covers everything on my chest/abdomen/neck/face. $37 for 8.5 oz, which lasts me about 6 months, making it very economical. My favorite place to get it is iherb.com since shipping is free.
One word of caution, this can sting my face and neck (never my chest or abs) and my skin is very non-sensitive. I’m not sure which ingredient it is, but I use it as a litmus test on when to back off of using my retinol and glycolic for a day. It seems to only occur when I’ve over done the exfoliating, but if you have sensitive skin, you might want to get samples first. Seriously a terrific moisturizer.
