I was in search of a good night time moisturizer and came upon this. To start with, I have combination-oily skin and lighter moisturizers suit my skin type better. But, I wanted a heavier moisturizer so I can seal in all the hydration. This works amazing for that. The next day, I wake up with soft skin. There’s 50g of product that lasts about 4 months. There’s no fragrance, which I really like. Overall, this is a no fuss moisturizer that does it’s job. If you’re looking for something with more benefits, this might not work for you. The price is affordable too, so I would repurchase

Used up nearly the whole jar over a period of about 4 months, mostly at night or when I was wearing heavier makeup. Definitely good value for money. Overall, this was a good moisturizer. I like that the texture is not too heavy yet moisturising enough (I live in a humid tropical climate, and this was great even with the air-conditioning on). I also like that it has no crazy fragrance. I didn’t break out from it, but it did irritate the skin around my eyes when I wasn’t careful with the application. I won’t be repurchasing as I want to try out other nighttime moisturizers.

I can see this product working well for dry skin-types that aren’t acne prone- its rich, a little greasy but absorbs well and is free from artificial perfume (although oddly it does have a strange scent). However, after about 4 days of use it broke me out horribly, I haven’t had a breakout quite like this for some time- whiteheads, clogs, cysts… it was terrible. Looking at other reviews, it seems like it can cause a nuclear reaction for some people, so proceed with caution and patch test!

I love this cream – and actually I love it more now (with a more complicated korean-style skincare routine) than I did before when I was just doing the cleanse/tone/moisturise thing.
It’s got a nice rich texture, nothing in it that breaks me out (a minor miracle with my fussy skin), smells neutral, and my skin feels soft in the morning. But the thing I really love is how well it performs as a last step in my process of layering on water-based essence and serum; as a final oil/cream step it melts beautifully into my skin and seals in everything else.
I’d consider trying something else because I like trying new things but this cream just does exactly what I want it to as a final step at night.

Exactly as it says – this is a simple, no fuss night cream. It has a pleasant, filmy texture and no fragrance. Richer than Simple’s light moisturiser. Recommended.

My skin type is oily.. and so is this product but when used properly with cleanser day and night it should give some really good results if your not cleansing twice a day of course it will congest your skin a night cream is to add moisture back into the skin and is quite rich I highly reccomend this product when used with cleansing in the morning. To rehydrate and soothe skin.

This is literally my first night cream I have used, so I have nothing to compare to really.
I do like this cream but I found that it makes my face feel sticky and super oily in the morning – which I don’t like, I have to wash my face just to refresh it. I’m not sure if that will happen with other night creams or not.
WIth that being said, it feels really nice going on my skin, it’s thick and creamy. No funky smell – just neutral. It does leave my face feeling sticky though, so I put it on literally right before I jump into bed.
I feel like it does the job good enough but before I buy this product again, I’ll try out some other night creams.

You can find this product anywhere in the UK. It is also cheap which is a big plus. I have been using the cream for almost a year now and I haven’t had any break outs. The only negatives I could think of it that its too sticky when apply on my face. It may be because I have oily skin and it makes my face feel slightly more oily. I also find the packaging to be too thick. It make it seem that there is more product within the jar than there actually is. Other than that, it is an alright product. I think I would try other night creams before considering repurchasing this one.

I bought this for less than £3 so it’s a really affordable product if you don’t want to overspend on a night cream. The texture is very smooth, feels very moisturising (but not sticky/heavy) and keeps my oily skin feeling fresh when I wake up. I think the reason why I get extra oily when I wake up is because my skin needs extra moisture overnight, so more oil is produced as a result. What I want from a night-time moisturiser is the total opposite from what I need for daytime use, something rich and extra moisturising so the Simple night cream does the job for me. I also have never had a break-out from using this product so extra points there!
I was previously using the Clinique Turnaround night cream which I loved, but as I was on a budget this time I wanted a cheaper option. This cream doesn’t feel as luxurious as the Clinique one but I felt they both worked effectively for what I need.
The packaging is really basic and easy to use, I will definitely buy this again because it is such a good price.
