I am shocked to be the fourth reviewer for ialuset. Get on this product, people!
Technically, ialuset is a medical cream that’s intended for use on “healing uninfected, oozing or superinfected wounds, including leg ulcers.”
Ladies, our faces aren’t quite oozing ulcers, but they do need some TLC from time to time. ialuset provides this in spades. I would describe this as a white, water-based cream/serum. I have only ever used ialuset at night, though I understand from others that it is also great for daytime use.
The 100g tube cost around €9 at a pharmacy in Paris. Online retailers charge $25+ USD, which is probably still cheaper than most HA products on the market.
FYI I have only ever used ialuset in the metal tube (ialuset crème). I know that it also comes in a pressurized spray can (ialuset crème flacon pressurisé), but I can’t vouch for how dis/similar that formula is.

Ialuset by Laborotories Genevrier
I bought this cream at New London Pharmacy in Manhattan a few months ago and continued using every night before bedtime. My face looks amazing. I still like A313 pommade better because that contains the vit A like Avibon and stops the wrinkles. Both products didn’t irritate my face or cause dryness. In the beginning I did use a rich moisturizer. I would buy both again and again.

Pure, simple formula in high concentration, I say- if you can lay your hands on it, don’t miss a chance and grab a big tube!
It should be said that even though the name indicates that it’s a cream, it is more suitable to be used as a serum: it will sink right in and leave no trace on the skin. I layer it on top of my Vitamin C serum and beneath SPF cream and BB cream. For dryer skin, you’d definitely need an additional layer of moisturizing cream.
It is a wonderful product, effective, simple, strong and the pricing is incredible!

Wow, no reviews for Ialuset?! With all the hype in the last few yrs over French pharmacy cult beauty problems, that’s a surprise. Well, better late than never…
Ialuset is a staple in French women’s medicine cabinets and understandably so. This is a fantastic product for those of us who suffer from dry skin. In case you didn’t know, HA pulls and holds moisture into the skin – and this isn’t just commercialized hype either, its scientifically proven with loads of info out there on it. But I am betting you all know that already, considering all the d@mn products we purchase with it as an ingredient at insane amounts of $$$ :-). And speaking of American products which contain HA: No other product has this amount (almost 4 oz) or is this inexpensive. I got mine from a friend in France and think it was maybe $10? But you can also find it online for abt $50 (trust me that’s a steal).
As I understand it, this is the only form of pure Hyaluronic available in a skin product. While it’s really not easy to get your hands on, it’s def worth the hunt. It feels wonderful on the skin and soaks in incredibly fast. You can use it under lotion or mixed in with it. It penetrates into the deep layers of skin to hold moisture so it’s best to use with an additional moisturizer for the top layers. I can’t say enough good things about this brand/version.
