I love the texture of this cream. It soaks in completely, leaving no greasy residue. I find that it works well under makeup for my oily, acne-prone, dehydrated skin. I pair it with the Derma-E Hylauronic Facial Mist.

Like the slightly runny texture and how it absorbs immediately into my mature (age 57) combo skin. I enjoy the fruity scent. But without sunscreen in it I can only wear it under SPF foundation, so I find I don’t reach for it as often as I might otherwise.

Not bad, but not great! It comes in a glass jar and is a non-greasy light scoopable (not watery) cream. I don’t notice the fragrance. I purchased it because my Ulta was out of the night cream. I hadn’t tried either one before, so bought this. I tried using it on its own, after my vit c serum at night (i know it’s day cream but I was hoping!), but it wasn’t moisturizing enough – my skin dried out maybe 20 mins later. It wasnt hydrating enough during the day either. So now I use it as a layering product and always put another moisturizer on top (mario badescu seaweed night cream usually) followed by some argan pil at night or sunscreen (australian gold) and makeup during the day. Would not repurchase when it runs out – i plan on trying out the night cream. I generally have dry skin.

Smells exactly like Bubs Daddy gum from the 70’s, which I liked at the time, and is definitely fun for nostalgia, but I don’t want that smell on my face. Nice texture – light with a whipped texture. Horrible huge heavy glass packaging – the worst for travel. There was nothing special about this on my skin, except for the unbearable scent. Had to return it.

I am very disappointed with this product. I have dry skin, but got some acne durnig past year (more whiteheads) because of stress… I searched something to hydrate my skin. It is my first derma e product. I have dry skin and it is just not enough hydrating even though I use it with derma e hydrating serum… I expected much more… :((( I will try to use it with some argan oil.

It was lighter than expected. It’d be good for warmer weather, but since it has no SPF, it wouldn’t be good for that either. Not winner.

This is a very nice product if you read the ingredients list. I was quite excited about trying it out, as my skin is quite dry – however it did not moisturize my face as much as I would want to.
I believe this product is more for people with normal to dry or combination skin; if you are severly dry this won’t do the trick. The formula however is quite lightweight and non greasy. Makeup applies beautifully on top of it and it does keep skin feeling young and plump throughout a day. I do find that I prefer a bit thicker creams though, but as an alternative option for those of you who just need a nourishing cream to keep the skin feeling good during be it colder months or just harsh climate – this is a good one.

I can honestly say that this creme and the companion night creme have saved my skin during this extremely harsh winter. The texture is rich but not greasy and the creme is absorbed well within a few minutes, leaving skin with an almost cushiony feel. After two months of lavish use, I still have about half a jar to go and that value deserves mention. The only reason I have not given this awesome product 5 lippies is because it does not contain any sun protection. But as a moisturizer it is absolutely great and I plan to continue using it even when winter finally blows out of town (not soon enuf haha!)

I’ve been using this cream almost daily for a few months. I kept hoping to notice a difference in hydration or skin texture, or maybe some slight changes in wrinkles over time, but I never did. Frankly, I don’t find it very hydrating at all. I have used other creams and oils intermittently with much better results. Especially when worn alone, I’ve noticed that this product evaporates quickly, leaving a sort of waxy-feeling (though not uncomfortable) residue on my skin. (I’m thinking it must be the silicones.)
It does work nicely enough under sunscreen and foundation, as it doesn’t leave an oily or shiny finish on the skin.
But I’m just not impressed overall with the product. From what I’ve read about hyaluronic acid, I was expecting this stuff to drench my skin with moisture and leave a soft finish. It doesn’t.
I’ll be finishing up the half-jar that’s left by using it as a hand cream.
Oh, and about the scent. I found it off-putting at first, but I think it must have faded over time because nowadays I don’t detect any scent when I open the jar and apply the product.

PROS: Such a beautiful whipped texture that feels great going on. The active ingredient seems to really be helping my wrinkles look less deep. Natural ingredients. Doesn’t bother my very sensitive skin too much.
CONS: Comes in a jar, but I just make sure I have clean hands when I apply. It has a smell that is from the Plumeria blossom. When I saw that in the reviews, I thought I would hate the product. The scent is somehow quite tolerable (and perhaps even enjoyable). That really surprised me because I normally hate floral scents, even in perfume. Although, it does sometimes bother my sensitive skin a bit, and I think it may be the fragrance. It also may be the witch hazel in the product. Can leave a very slight white cast.
ALTERNATES: This brand has a very moisturizing night cream (with a fragrance, though, that can bother my skin), and then there’s also the choice of Paul’s Choice Barrier Repair (with retinol), which is very moisturizing but leaves no film on my skin (but no SPF). Trader Joe’s face and body spf 30 is very moisturizing. When I don’t need spf, I like My new fave for very moisturizing while not clogging me AT ALL is Aveeno – Positively Nourishing Comforting Whipped Souffle, which is actually made for the body, but I love it for my face.
PURCHASING TIPS: I can get this cheaper through places like Vitacost.
