I have T-Zone combination skin a little bit towards the dryer side, and I have to say that this is the worst moisturizer I have ever tried, I applied it only a few days, but this gave me extreme breakouts, skin irritation, and kind of an allergic reaction. I am not sure what it is, but it is the worst experience which I ever had with a moisturizer 🥺 I wanted to like it because I do have the cleanser and I love it, but the cream is terrible. 🥺4

I have combination skin, but in winter the dry patch start spreading larger than usually so the lady at the drugstore recommended me this. It does moisturize my cheeks and does one job that normal moisturizers can’t do is to change my skin texture. It smooths out the dry patches, close pores and keeps my face hydrated.
However, after have been using it for 2 weeks, I noticed some breakouts at my jawline, forehead and near the T-zone. It’s not so visible but those little spots are kind of annoying. You can avoid this by put on clay mask twice a week to unclog the pores which are covered by the cream.
I don’t think people with extreme dry skin should use this because the moisturizing is not good enough, maybe just normal-to-dry is ok.
Edit: It’s the third week and I decide to toss this because milia is starting to appear at the corner of my eyes where I can’t apply the clay mask on. :'(

I bought this when Watsons had a 20% discount; I’ve always wanted to try this moisturizer but the normal selling price is crazy! I’ve had a recent outbreak of irritation on my cheeks and this cream hydrates without being slick; it’s very light and absorbs very very quickly into the skin. I would not recommend this for nighttime or colder, drier seasons though, as the effects only last a while. I have oily skin and this is the perfect amount of hydration I need in the morning. It’s also a good base for makeup, as it says on the box packaging, because it gives BB cream something to hold onto by making your skin smoother. I also love the hygienic dispensing pump; it looks slightly weird as it’s a tube with an upside-down pump, but this way you get exactly the amount you want to squeeze out and no product drips out while it’s upright. I wish this cream were less expensive though! I will be repurchasing if I finish it, and when Watsons has another discount.

I have skin on the drier side, but its especially dry lately due to the winter heater being on so I decided to give this cream a try since I used my friend’s Bioderma face wash and I really liked it in the past.
The container is pretty small I’ll have to admit. It is 40 ml and it comes with a blue translucent cap that you take off and then you can press it down for lotion to come out. I will say its not the most amazing container. I actually had an accident with it jamming a tiny bit and then I pressed too hard and squirted too much out, but that’s only happened once so far.
Usually I only use a little dot in the morning and at night. I’ve noticed my forehead has become a little more hydrated since using it and it hasn’t left me breaking out or given me milia, so that’s about as much as I can ask really. While my skin isn’t SUPER sensitive, it is prone to getting breakouts with the wrong types of cosmetics and lotions, so I’m fairly cautious.
It is very liquidy but still viscous enough to hold the shape of a dot when you squeeze it out. It absorbs very quickly and doesn’t leave much of a feeling after application, definitely not greasy feeling to me. Though you can still feel it a tiny bit after application ,but it really dissipates quite quickly.
I haven’t used it too many days so far, but I’m liking it. I bought it on Amazon for about 29 USD. I don’t feel its super expensive as I’ve probably spent more than that on foundation and skincare’s important. While it’s not a miracle product it does what its meant to do and that’s good enough for me.
Of course I’ll update if anything adverse happens, thanks for reading!

I was super exited to try this product because I love the hydrabio serum and I was looking for good moisturizer. I found that even though I have oily skin this was too light, and someone also said it their review that they found this moisturizer cause milia and I noticed that too, so please watch out for that. I returned after a couple of days.

Used it for a few months but did not see any results. My skin hydration did not improve but it did not break me out. It’s lightweight, adsorbs fast into the skin making it easy to apply makeup after. Good for tropical humid weather like SG. The fact that it does not come with SPF is a little downer. Cheaper alternative to Avene Hydrance Optimale!

I’m writing a review on the Light moisturizer with the blue cap. Not sure if it’s the same as this one, but anyways, surprisingly, I really like the moisturizer. Mind you, this light moisturizer is only good for the summer. For winter, a thicker moisturizer is definitely needed. I have slightly oily skin in the summer and when it gets hot, my face sweats so I don’t like to apply thicker lotions/creams during the day. So for the purpose of this, I’d only use it during summer months. It is very lightweight as it is described. The texture is thin and applies smoothly over my face and neck. Because it is so thin, it dries quick too. My skin is quite sensitive and it did not react to this cream, unlike the reviewer before me. I can apply sunscreen and makeup over it and it does not pill as it absorbs quickly. I didn’t note any scent to the product when I pumped it out. This lotion comes in a pump bottle, which the one I have has a blue cap rather than white. The pump is very hygienic and is quite travel friendly, as in not very bulky to carry around. The lotion is white and thin which is good for even and smooth application, as said previously. I would definitely repurchase this during the hot months as a thin moisturizer, but other than that, wouldn’t use it any other time as the climate I live in is very dry.

My skin got burned and turned red and felt itchy right after I applied this. This is the 1st time ever I got this worst nightmare of skin irritation. Definitely won’t touch it again!!!

THIS is my long-awaited HG!!
Usually I’m unable to give a review on MUA because my uber sensitive combination and dehydrated skin won’t tolerate products long enough to trial them properly. But since trying this moisturiser 2.5 months ago, my skin has literally transformed from being dull and blotchy, with red areas on my cheeks and forehead that were so dehydrated they looked and felt like eczema, to calm, smooth, even and healthy-looking skin. I was unsure whether my skin was dry or dehydrated before trying this – based on how amazing this stuff has been for me, my powers of deduction tell me I was just massively dehydrated all along.
The 3 lines on my forehead have now completely gone (I always suspected they were dehydration lines rather than age wrinkles) and my skin is supple and has a healthy glow. I even had the makeup artist at my friend’s wedding a couple of weeks ago complement me on my skin – nobody has ever said anything nice about my skin – EVER. My eyes, hair, teeth sure, but not my skin. It is not an exaggeration to say this product has saved my skin and massively improved my confidence. I don’t even feel I need foundation most days now.
I use one pump of this in the evening after having cleansed and polished with Liz Earle cleanser. It’s a silky and thin consistency that goes on nicely although I have to make sure I’ve patted my skin dry before applying the bioderma otherwise my face feels a bit slimey.
I would have to give Liz Earle’s cleanser some credit for my skin transformation, as my skin did improve after using this for about 6 months previously. However, it was only after starting to use the Bioderma that my skin really started to feel and look as it should. Literally after 3 days of one application of Bioderma each evening, I could tell it was going to make a huge difference to my life. You’ll know what I mean if you have itchy, flakey, troubled skin which you can’t even cover up with foundation because that just makes it worse…
My only niggles with this, and hence why it’s not 5 lippies, is that I’m pretty sure it contains something that causes milia. I had never had milia in my life until I started using this and after a couple of weeks had one rather large millia where my cheek meets the thin skin under my eye. Had to go for a facial to remove this – the therapist advised to make sure I was very careful about avoiding putting the cream on the thinner skin around the eyes (like leaving a good 2cm below your bottom eyelid) to avoid this. Since then I have had no further problems. Also no info about whether it’s been tested on animals so I assume it has – will be weaning myself off it asap due to this which is such a shame.
