I am still relatively new to Hyaluronic Acid serums and this is my second time trying a clear HA just on its own (and not a cream version). The first one I have tried was by the Ordinary and I did not enjoy it at all; product felt sticky, tacky and honestly showed zero results. I actually feel like my skin got drier as a result.
The Good Molecules version on the other hand is much more watery in texture. I find that applying this serum on top of a damp skin does the trick (I spritz mine with a toner first). I always follow up with my usual moisturizer and find that both my skin and even makeup look so much better throughout the day. For only six dollars this serum is a total steal.
You can read more about this and other skincare must-haves in a separate review here ( Hope it helps!

I purchased this along with some other products from muac including their mandelic/salicylic peel. I have very oily skin that, despite the oil, tends to be dehydrated and sensitive, with redness. I ordered this product hoping it would help with the natural barrier function of my skin to help with these things. It seems to be working. My skin feels plumper and softer after using this, an effect I noticed quickly. My overall redness also seems to be slightly toned down, and my skin doesnt feel dried out under the oil. Where this product really excels is when it is used alongside products with chemical exfoliants. It helps bring out the softness after exfoliation and seems to help with any sensitivity from the chemicals. It is especially great in a routine that involves peels. I find that, after using this daily, peels sting less and my skin recovers from them better. I use it directly after peels and it instantly eliminates any redness and stinging.
Basically, it is an okay hydrating product, but in my opinion its strength lies in regimens with.chemical exfoliation, particularly peels.

So far I like this serum a lot.
I wear it under moisturizer and it helps keep my skin moisturized all day. I’ve never worn hyaluronic acid alone because I read this wouldn’t be any help at all as HA binds water to your skin, but it needs to get the water from somewhere, so you need a water-based moisturizer on top.

It didn’t seem to moisturize my face much, even with multiple applications. I love many products from this company, but this one I will pass on in the future.

So this product has completely destroyed my skin. At first, I thought it may be purging, but after I stopped using it to see if this was affecting it, my skin cleared up. I thought that perhaps I was using it too often, but as soon as I tried it again, a couple days later my skin looks and feels horrible. Clogged pores and red bumps all over. Perhaps I have a sensitivity to it, but this is never touching my face again. I also contacted their customer service about what was happening, and they never responded to me.

First, my skin type: Acne prone/sensitive/aging. I started out with the sample size to see how well my skin would respond and found it to be very good for maintaining what the peel removes. It does not irritate, burn, itch or bead up. I use 2-3 drops (my packaging is the dropper style) so I can get exactly how much I need for each application with zero waste. I use this along with a moisturizer on top because it is not moisturizing enough, however my skin is changing so at times it IS moisturizing enough. I feel that it does what it says it is designed to do; plump skin, stimulate collagen and moisturize.

I am so surprised at the mixed reviews on this product. I adore it for what it has done for my skin. Hyaluronic acid is used in facial injections such as Juvederm. It is also used in burn care and because of how it stimulates collagen. It is a staple in skincare for wrinkle treatment and prevention. I’m on the prevention side I’m 33 going on 34 Oct 2nd and for me I am lucky because I don’t have “wrinkles” per say. I have genetic forehead lines light smile lines and some scaring from acne. After using Retin A and peels which finally got me clear. It has now been up keep and this product has been working so well for me.
It’s 95% pure. Hyaluronic acid is never 100% pure because it comes in a powder form so a liquid has to be added so if anyone tries to sell you 100% HA you know it’s bs. Google it for yourself but it’s a fact and I see skincare lines that say that when it’s impossible. I use this at night as a serum and then I apply a heavier moisturizer such as Lancome Energie De Vie or CeravePM mixed with some Boots Redness Relief Balm. When I wake in the AM my skin is soft, plump, and totally hydrated. Now I have combo to oily skin and this does not make me greasy or make me produce too much oil nor break out.
Since it is scientifically proven that HA does work in collagen synthesis for me it’s a no brainer to use this product. I also use it in the daytime with TheBalm’s TimeBomb Vanilla Oil Control Lotion, or something heavier in moisturizer like The Body Shop’s Intensive Vitamin E cream over it. Because I use aha’s,peels, and retinoids so I find nothing works better than the Hyaluronic Acid at maintaing my skins moisture barrier and keeping peeling to a minimum.
I love this product and for me it works I finally do not have dehydrated skin. It’s so soft and makes your skin glow. My sister even remarked at how clear and even it looks. I can finally just use a little concealer and blush if I am just running out. My skin used to be so bad from acne. Now you would never know and my scarring is almost gone! I really think this is a must try because of how good HA is. I love Muac they are super reasonable and give a quality product fast shipping too. I luv them because these products have given me my skin back. No crazy packaging just a solid product with excellent results in my case. At least try a sample then you know if it’s worth buying the whole bottle.
The only thing I don’t like is that the pump can make the product come out too fast. I just slowly pump it into a closed hand so nothing escapes rub together pat in and voila:) Definitely Recommended!

This is not hydrating enough to use alone. I use this after I do a peel when you shouldn’t be putting too much on your face anyway, and Illl use it in the morning underneath regular moisturizer on days when my skin needs a lot of moisture. I like the peptide serum with botanicals from MUAC better as a product you can use alone for hydration and elasticity.

I don’t know why this doesn’t have more reviews here on MUA- it has heaps on iHerb- in fact, it was it’s high rating and pretty low price that led me to but it. Since then, I’ve gone through 4 bottles and will continue to buy it.
First, I have oily, acne prone skin which is fair and sensitive- made more sensitive my prescription retin-A cream. So, when I saw this I thought it’d be just a cheap moisturizer to replace my korres rose serum- I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular. But wow! This stuff has made my skin so, soooo soft! Seriously, like baby-soft. Was not expecting any results at all, but this combined with green tea as a toner has made my skin softer than ever. Nil firming benefits, though, but I’m not fussed.
Only problem- it does ball up and rub off a bit. And I wish it came it bigger bottles- I use it twice a day and 30mls lasts me 4-6weeks or so.
Fantastic stuff and cheap, too. Worth a try.

This serum absorbs really fast, sinks right in after you apply it on the skin. It feels super comfortable. My skin is combination on the T-zones and dry elsewhere. Most moisturizer feels heavy on me, causing shine quite quickly. So I switched from using a moisturizer into spraying on my reviva rose water for added moisture, put on this serum and then sunblock. It works better and feels more comfortable than using moisturizer though my dry parts can still look dry especially if I am in air-conditioning for a long time. Better than getting clog pores I will say. This is relatively cheap too on Iherb. I recommend this if u are looking for a serum to layer on.

I’m a regular user of Vitamin C skin serums and creams, and I know I’m not allergic to Vitamin C products, but this particular serum made my skin super red and sensitive after every use.

I’ve been using this daily for around two months. It’s a very watery gel that gives a light moisturizing effect upon application, but this amplifies over the course of a day. My skin looks better and seems to retain moisture longer – I’m very happy with the product.

I am very skeptical of skincare products after a year and a half of adult acne. At the moment, my skin regime is minimal – I only use Cerave lotion, African Black Soap (as a cleanser) and prescription retinoids on my skin.
Everything in this serum is found in nature and has reputations for being great remedies for a variety of skin issues – hyaluronic acid is a strong natural moisturizer, witch hazel shrinks pores, vitamin C renews skin / fades scars and aloe, green tea, jojoba oil and vitamin E are great for skin health on a few different levels. I figured that since I’m not sensitive to anything on the ingredients list, so it can’t hurt to try. I bought a 2 oz bottle (about the size of your palm or a little smaller) off Amazon for about $20. The price was great, the bottle is made of dark, sturdy glass, and the dropper is easy to use, so the packaging is all around fantastic.
The serum itself behaves more like a gel since most of the ingredients are suspended in aloe. It goes on like a cool gel and sinks in immediately, so you have to work quickly to cover the whole face. I use this twice a day – once after cleaning and before moisturizer in the morning, and once after cleaning before bed.
I was pleasantly surprised to see a noticeable difference after only two days! I have large pores and most of them were visibly smaller (probably due ot the witch hazel). My acne scars from the previous weeks have faded faster than expected (yay for Vit C!) and my skin just feels BETTER, probably due to the aloe and all the moisturizers in this product. I have oily skin naturally but it gets dehydrated easily, so the hyaluronic acid seemed to have solved that issue by sinking in quickly and “gripping” on to any moisturizers I put on top. I no longer have flaking issues around old acne scars and my skin looks “dewy”, but not in an oily way!
Overall, I’m SO happy to have added this to my skin regime. I will keep using it twice daily. I haven’t noticed miracles, per se, but the smaller pores, fading scars and calmer skin is worth it. I’ll report back in a month or two if this helped at all with my acne.

I generally love MUAC products, but this is one that I will not buy again. It leaves my skin taught and dry. It also squirts out in a non-controlled fashion. I have tried using it on damp skin to see if that would increase its effectiveness. I still end up having to put moisturizer on top of it to get rid of the tight dry feeling.

I have incredibly oily skin with visible pores.
I started using this as a replacement for more traditional cream moisturizers and it’s been a dream come true. I am less oily and my skin looks healthy and clean all the time.
It’s a little bit pricy, however a single squirt of the liquid is enough for my entire face and neck.
This has become one of my HG products.
