Feels emollient and thick. But not very moisturising. Makes my skin look dull and feel slightly tacky. Smells strongly of mens aftershave.

I really dislike this moisturizer I’ve been using it for about two months now and my skin got very dry and irritated while using this moisturizer, it just wasn’t moisturizing enough. The texture is like a regular moisturizer and it’s non greasy and very lightweight on the skin it also absorbs very fast. Sadly it just isn’t cutting it for me so I started mixing this with my tatcha Camelia oil and that oil has been a life saver for me because since I’ve been adding the oil my skin is no longer dry irritated or itchy and it’s not because of this moisturizer either it’s the tatcha oil that made this work for now. With that being said I recommend this to normal and oily skin types because this isn’t heavy it’s lightweight and non greasy but this is not for skin that needs real moisture.

So this has some fancy claims. I don’t see any of those happening for me. But it is a solid moisturizer. For me it’s a medium weight moisturizer that does it’s job. My skin looks hydrated and brighter after I use it. Don’t get it in your eyes-it burns!
But it is expensive and I have others that work as well for less. Not worth a repurchase.

I wanted to try this product before parting with big bucks for what Sephora’s site SAYS is 5.1 ounces/150 mls (making this a good value) but is actually the standard 1.7 ounces/50 mls, so only 1/3 the amount Sephora’s erroneous description promises! That’s a pretty sloppy error.
Whatever the jar size, I’d have purchased this had it been as moisturizing as the copy suggested – “fountain of youth” and “bio-identical triple lipid complex” but, having tried this for a couple of days, this strikes me as a pretty mediocre moisturizer, with a light, almost (but not quite) gel like texture. For $74 Canadian (it’s only 58 bucks in the US), this isn’t worth the money and is nowhere near moisturizing enough for my skin, especially in winter. And I’m not sure but it might have given me the first pimple I’ve had in 20 or so years….a really huge, sore carbuncle on my forehead!

This cream is a slightly thick moisturizer that absorbs quickly leaving skin feeling nice and soft. The cream has a great ingredient list with ceramides, retinyl palimatate, vitamin e, and saccharomyces. It’s a bummer that they packaged this in a jar. The cream soaks into my skin quickly leaving it feel soft and moisturized. This doesn’t have any real scent to it which I appreciate. I like that this layers well over and under serums, my retinol cream, and a thicker moisturizer without and pilling. I always apply many layers because my skin is so dry without several serums and creams. This also works well under primers before foundation application. If the full size came in anything other than a jar I would definitely purchase the full size. It is too pricey for something that comes packaged so cheaply, in my opinion.
