I don’t like to layer too much under make up, so I typically used this primer as a moisturizer too and found it good at that (though I have skin on the oily side). I didn’t find it glittery but more like a pearlescent sheen, which could give a glowy look depending on the the weight of the foundation I wore over it. The scent – which was more vanilla cupcakes than coconut to me – was nice and didn’t linger once applying. Overall, I like the product!

My skin loves coconut so I knew I had to try this primer. This is an oil-free smoothing primer which also claims to blur the appearance of pores. It is quite a hydrating primer, but sinks quickly into the skin and provides light moisture to the skin. I have oily skin and it doesn’t cause me to look shiny or greasy. The primer has a gentle coconut scent which I enjoy. It reminds me a lot of Too Faced Hangover Primer. A little goes a long way with this product, so the tube will last you a long time. It does help foundation to last longer. However I find it pretty run-of-the-mill; nice enough and does the job but nothing special or extraordinary. Overall I enjoy the product and will continue to use it. I also would recommend it, but it is a basic primer and I think you could find a similar effect from lower-priced primers.

Heavens, this made me look like the Tin Man with all the metals in the ingredients list. A weird metallic sheen, I was not expecting that! It was a gift so I hope it didn’t cost a lot. I washed it off right away without trying foundation on top of it, I may try it one day when I’m feeling brave and have nowhere to go.
The tube I have is meant to be unscented, that’s the only plus I have for it thus far.

I don’t wear foundation but I find this helps my skin look more even and flawless on its own. It also helps any concealer or blush I put on to go on more smoothly. Other reviewers have said this is too glittery but I don’t find that at all. It is really hard to detect on my NC25 skin, not OTT or glittery at all. Nobody would know I was wearing it.
In winter, my skin gets hella dry. Putting this on over moisturizer and sunscreen really does seem to help with the moisture level.
I like to keep my use of makeup products minimal and focus more on skincare, but this is one makeup product I don’t like to be without.
I took a star off for the scent, which is not overpowering, but I don’t want any scent in my makeup or skincare products.

This was decent but was a little too oily for my already oily skin. But it smells soooooo good!

I’m new to primers, so a priming moisturizer is a good place to start. I have dry/combo skin usually. To my clean face, first I apply moisturizer, then this product (a pea-sized dab), then a wee bit of BB cream (half-pea). This product has a slight warm beige tint to it, goes on smoothly and sinks in (and wears colorless), and seems to prolong what little makeup I do wear. It does a really nice job of evening out my skin texture so my BB cream doesn’t collect in spots. After several hours of wear, my skin still feels hydrated and soft as well. It works great for me in wintertime (low humidity environment where I live), and I’m curious if it will hold up as well in summertime when my sebum is more pronounced. Other reviewers noted the dewy and light-reflective properties of this product – but I think that’s if you wear this product alone with nothing else over the top of it; with BB or TM afterwards, on me that dewy/glow goes away, and since I typically go for a natural look that’s a good thing.
So, in summary, I really like this, and it’s a good baseline as I venture forth into the world of primers.

The finish is opalescent. It’s unwearable without a full coverage foundation on top. It’s not very moisturizing. The glitter sank into fine lines. It’s so shockingly bad that I haven’t bought FAB products since they launched this abomination.

I bought this thinking it was a primer, something I never used but wanted to try. Turns out as I like to minimise the amount of products in my AM routine it worked out well as a priming moisturiser. I just made sure I used the right serums before applying this as I didn’t find it hydrating on it’s own, but it’s great that it’s lightweight because I would follow this with SPF. It provides light illumination so it’s nice for no makeup days or beach holidays. Otherwise I wouldn’t consider it essential. It didn’t make a difference to my makeup in terms of application or longevity. For me it’s a great alternative to using something like Clarins Beauty Flash Balm or similar products because its got a nice whipped texture, it sinks in fast, it’s slightly cheaper and what I perceive to be better ingredients.

This is actually really nice. I love the way this makes my skin look dewy under makeup but not oily. I’d definitely pick this up again.

I am usually not one for all over illuminating base products as I have oily and textured skin, but I find this priming moisturizer to have very subtle shimmer that does empathize my texture and feel extremely comfortable on my face before I go in with powder foundation. I don’t think it really extends my powder foundation wear however, the combination imparts a natural finish. There are many days where I wear this alone with some lightly defined brows for the gym or running errands, and I feel a bit more alive.

I emptied 3 tubes of it AND its currently stocked in my gym bag, my boyfriend’s place, and my own vanity: safe to say, I don’t want to be without it.
Its also not too expensive either at $35 CAD at Sephora
