I’m typically not a fussy person when it comes to daytime moisturizer. I just want something moisturizing that isn’t greasy and sinks in easily. I bought this on a whim. It does ALL of those things, which so many moisturizers don’t. It also makes me look fantastic. I had been joking that I’m hitting the age where I no longer look younger without makeup. Suddenly, that’s switching back and this is the only skincare product I’ve switched lately. I haven’t liked Acure’s other products-I tried a truly terrible mask from them-but this stuff is fantastic.

I actually enjoy the citrus smelling scent! I use this during the day before makeup for my combo skin. I wait till it dries fully before putting on foundation. It’s not greasy nor did it break me out

I can’t fathom how anyone can stand to put this on their face for long, because the smell is STRONG and OBNOXIOUS. I tried using it on my hands instead and wound up washing it off because it could still smell it when I touched my face.

The marketing of this moisturizer is all backwards. Plant stem cells won’t fix your skin, and this cream is not at all good for day unless you have crazy dry, oil thirsty skin. But as a night cream I love it. I found it slightly greasy, but I don’t mind that overnight because it absorbed by morning most of the time and felt light. And it smells like oranges in a really yummy way. I would only use it during the day in a pinch, and only without anything greasy over top. It was not irritating but it also didn’t seem to have much of an effect on my skin aside from moisturizing it well. Maybe there was a bit of brightening, but not anything that really impressed me. Used as a night cream you do not need a lot and it will last for a while. Better than things that come in jars and require a spatula and generally cost more for similar quality. Also, bonus for it being cruelty free and silicone free and vegan, and for containing a nice set of emollient plant oils and extracts. I am a little suspicious of the preservative system. It didn’t seem to go bad but I would be careful about exposure to heat or letting the bottle sit for a long time. Would buy again, but not in a rush. Maybe if they update preservatives in some way, or if it were on sale.

I really like this moisturizer. I find it to be better as a night cream, although it’s fine as a fat cream as Lon as you are wearing a primer before applying makeup. No harsh ingredients. I adore their scrub and cleansing cream.

This is without a doubt the worst moisturizer I’ve ever used. If I were to ever use this again I would consider it an act of violence against my skin. It feels very oily going on and doesn’t seem to ever absorb into my skin. My makeup sits on top of it and smudges and wears off very easily. It broke me out and made my skin oily and uneven-looking. I also really hate the overwhelming citrus smell.

I have oily/acne prone skin, with a occasional dry spots that come from my use of prescription acne creams. I was looking for a thicker moisturizer because my last moisturizer (Clinique’s dramatically different gel) was not enough for my skin once I started using perscription cremes.
PROS:
-The ingredients are fantastic! I’ve been making a gradual switch to natural/organic products and this product has everything I am (and everything I’m NOT) looking for in a product
-Moisturizes well. My skin is left soft and helps counteract my dryness
-Did not make me break out or clog my pores at all
-Made my skin look brighter after using it for a few weeks
-Does nos interfere with my foundation
-Pleasant smell
-Decent Price
CONS:
-It takes a few minutes for the lotion to completely absorb, since it is made with oils
-The lotion itself might be too oily for people who don’t need a lot of moisture. But that is fine since it is for normal-dry skin

I am unimpressed with this cream. I received a deluxe sample of it on my Ipsy bag and was excited to try a different face cream. It has wreaked havoc on my skin. I have been using it daily for about two weeks. I have seen no improvement to my skin at all, and it is giving me very deep cystic pimples that are painful and last for ages. I have oily sensitive skin, and if you do too, I suggest that you run far away from this product.

Now that I’m 25, I’ve been taking more preventative measures in taking care of my skin. Up until about 6 months ago, I didn’t even use a moisturizer at all. It’s taken me a little while to figure out what I even wanted in a moisturizer, as well as find one that doesn’t make my makeup look like crap. I’ve been using this one about a week, and so far, I like it a lot. It smells really good (if you like tangerines) it’s very light, absorbs quickly and evenly, and doesn’t make your face greasy throughout the day. My makeup looks a lot smoother when I wear this (like, a lot smoother) and supposedly it helps firm skin. Kind of perfect!

Not a functional cream (doesn’t fade wrinkles, refines pores or gets rid of rosacea, etc
No SPF
Doesn’t necessarily prevent acne.
Too light to be used for both day and night; you will need to have a good night cream/treatment to make up for this non-functional cream
(There’s a night cream from this brand and I used it for 1 year. It wasn’t enough hydration for me. If you are willing to spend more money for your skin then I would recommend creams from more higher end brands, like origins, kiehl’s bobbi brown….etc)
I have combination skin; oily t zone and dry cheeks, sensitive skin and acne prone.
I used this cream for 5 years. First 2 years I used this for both day and night. Even though it says day cream.. My skin still looked combination skin but felt very dry inside. So I had to get a night cream (more heavier and moisturizing; Now I use both cream and oil because I use mist to hydrate my skin and i really want to seal that water in.
If you want a simple moisturiser for day time that will just keep you moisturized without giving you a shine and are also health conscious, this is a good moisturiser.
