Very average moisturizer, it did not work very well for my skin because it didn’t hydrate it enough. Also, I didn’t notice any boost/energy effects. But the worst about this moisturizer is the finishing. It is very hard to put any makeup/foundation no the top of this, because it cakes.. It was my first experience with Origins, I had great expectations but it was one of the worst moisturizers I bought lately.

Ordinary gel moisturizer with no wow factor for me. Didnt feel like it actually ‘Energy boost’ my skin. The tangy smell is great, i like it.
4 stars as it does its job well for my oily skin & the price is ok compared to Clinique Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator which is also 50ml but $24 more expensive. They both feel the same to me after trying out both.
Will only repurchase if it’s on sales unless there’s no other cheaper option in the market that works equally well.

Your standard gel moisturizer with an amazing refreshing scent. I found the smell of this moisturizer really made me feel revitalized in the mornings. The moisturizer itself doesn’t seem to have any special qualities, it is just like any of my favorite gel moisturizers from the drugstore like the Neutrogena Water Boost. I won’t buy this again because of the price point, but I did enjoy it while it lasted.

I got this moisturiser as part of an Xmas gift set. It goes on the skin lovely, it’s a beautiful, silky texture and smells pretty nice, but that’s about it for me. I don’t find it particularly hydrating or glowy. It’s fine, it’s ok but it’s not enough for me. I’m 39 and needing more hydration these days, I need more than this moisturiser, especially for the price. I usually use Embroylisse Lait Creme Concentrate, I’ve used it for a couple of years and it offers hydration, a glowy look and is an excellent primer underneath makeup. It is also cheaper than this,, especially when on offer. Idon’t hate the Origins moisturiser, but I don’t love it either, there are much better products out there in this price range and below.

Unfortunately every time I tried to use this, it cause break outs. Still trying to recover…

I recently picked up this up after wanting to try a new day cream. Sephora was having a good sale and I got for 22€, pretty good price. I read some reviews here before I picked it up and while most people praised the orange-y scent, someone mentioned that it smelled like orange and chocolate. I really don´t like that combination, and I think it´s maybe the power of suggestion, but now when I put this cream on, I smell chocolate and orange.
The consistency is nice and cooling especially in summer, and it absorbs relatively fast. But sometimes I find that it doesn´t quite moisturize enough, and my forehead is left feeling a little dry.
While it´s a nice lightweight cream for the summer, it´s not terribly mind-blowing, and the scent will probably make me not purchase this again.

I’m really into this moisturizer and have gone through several tubs already. I have very oily skin and it does a great job of hydrating my skin without being too heavy or greasy feeling. It’s not heavy duty in that it doesn’t offer much anti-aging benefits, but It pairs wonderfully with sunscreens and serums
It also smells wonderful. I use morning right after using Ole Henriksen Truth Serum (another great product!) and it’s a wonderful experience—and I smell lovely to boot!

I enjoyed using this moisturizer. It’s extremely light, in between the texture of a gel and a water based lotion. The smell is refreshing, very citrusy and fresh. It absorbs quickly. It’s nothing wow or fancy. Just very enjoyable to use!

I love this stuff! I have oily skin and most moisturizers clog it up and make it feel really greasy and nasty, which I hate especially during the day when I have makeup on. This moisturizer is the best I’ve found for keeping my oiliness at bay and not clogging my pores. It has a really nice consistency that spreads easily on the skin and sinks right in. It makes my skin brighter too and generally keeps the moisture just right so that I’m not overly oily but not dehydrated either.
It’s a great daily moisturizer under sunscreen and makeup. I use it at night too, but I’d love to find another moisturizer that offered more anti-aging benefits as I don’t think this one has too much in it for those things and I’m in my 30s now so have to start thinking about those issues soon. But for now I’m happy. No breakouts, brighter skin, no fuss. Smells lovely too but very strong so if you don’t like citrusy scents this may be intolerable.

Unfortunately I’m not a fan – just wasn’t moisturising enough for me and after a few days my skin felt very tight. Such a shame as it smells lovely
