If you are looking for a face cream that is packed with peptides and antioxidants, look no further. Some of the key ingredients included in the formula are: matrixyl synthe ‘6, syn-tacks (anti-aging peptide), coenzyme Q10, resveratrol, green tea, niacinamide, aloe vera, coconut oil, argan oil, açai berry, and pomegranate. The texture is light yet moisturizing and not the slightest bit greasy. All Mad Hippie products have a fresh scent, without any added fragrance. The face cream has a very faint, mild citrus scent. The packaging isn’t my favorite. I like the airless pump however, the plastic sticks a bit when you depress it but nothing horrible. It’s not a deal breaker. You will also find that a little product goes a long way. One pump is enough for your face and neck.

I loooooove Mad Hippie. I am a huge fan of their Vit C Serum, Antioxidant Oil, Hydrating Nutrient Mist, Exfoliating Serum and Eye Cream. Did some research before picking Mad Hippie Face Cream, being that I was concerned about one ingredient in the formula.
Coconut Oil.
My skin hates it.
Decided to take the plunge, anyway. MH Face Cream is known to be a winner for all skin types. So, last night I put a dime sized amount onto my fingers and painted it on. It felt a little itchy, but in a good “I’m doing something productive, yet not irritating” kind of way, if that makes sense. My skin felt hydrated, but not overly so. My skin is oily, so that is important.
I woke up this morning to glowing skin and diminished wrinkles. This stuff is great!! Will update this review in the future to see what kind of anti-aging goodness come out of it 🙂 A little bit goes a long way, so although the bottle is small, it should last at least a few months.

Over priced for this tiny bottle. Good ingredients but not enough in this teeny tiny bottle to use long enough to notice any results. And it’s very heavily fragranced too.

What the heck, Mad Hippie. All of your products work for me, and I am telling the world.
I’ve mentioned this in my reviews for Mad Hippie’s other products elsewhere on the site, but I had such an issue with dry skin specifically on my forehead, nose, and cheeks (sometimes even under my eyebrow hair?!) for months that I thought I was constantly dehydrated somehow. Absolutely nothing I tried helped. Not coconut oil, not vitamin E oil, not jojoba, nothing from Lush helped, AHA creams were useless to me. It was ridiculously annoying. Then I discovered Mad Hippie. Hooray!
This lotion is light and smooth (like all of their products – these are like, the two main words I’ve used in my reviews so far. lol). It has the same scent as their cleanser, so a non-overwhelming floral smell. Even with it being so light, it hydrates my skin and doesn’t make me feel gross and oily afterwards. It sinks in quickly and makes my skin nice and glowy. I don’t really have many wrinkles to speak of yet, but the one area I’d have concerns about is my forehead. I want to head them off before they become more noticeable. Due to the fact that my wrinkles are so fine and sparse as is, I’m honestly not sure if I’ve seen any improvement there. I think for that kind of result, I’d have to be using the product for a bit longer than over two months.
The bottle is pretty small at 30ml, which I initially thought wouldn’t last long at all, but I really don’t have to use much of the cream to get good coverage on my face and neck. I think I’m good after over two months of use. However…there’s no way to tell how much you have left. I do like the air-pump packaging because it gives you great control of how much lotion you want, but how do I know when to order a new one? Also, will I have to break the container open to get at remaining product when the pump can’t access what’s left? Just something to consider, but I’d say don’t let it deter you from trying the product.
This bottle (it really isn’t a bottle, is it? A hard tube, maybe…? lol) costs $25.99 USD. I removed one lippie from price because it’s expensive for such a small bottle (though the ingredients are fantastic, so that does justify it in that way), and two from packaging because it’s a bottle that you may have to crack open to get to leftover product so as not to waste it. That might just be a thing I worry too much about, though. All in all, I love it and would gladly repurchase.

This is. A great product with fantastic ingredients. The pump is also very effective at getting every last drop of product out. The scent is light (sort of fruity, like melons) and not irritating. I bought this to put in my travel kit, and I’m sorry to say that I believe it broke me out. I got a few cystic zits on my chin and cheeks, where I never break out. I will be giving this to my mom or a friend, because it is a great product; however, it’s not for me.

So far I really like this face cream from Mad Hippie. I did not have too much luck with their vitamin C serum, but I’m glad I gave this a try. It’s not moisturizing enough for my dry skin on its own, so I mix in a couple drops of whatever oil I have on hand, and then it’s perfect. I think oily-skinned ones will find the texture perfect, since it’s hydrating but not greasy. It absorbs and rubs in like a dream, a light, moisture-filled texture hard to find in natural/organic creams. I also love the way it smells slightly of honeydew melon. It is packed full of great beneficial ingredients. I personally haven’t seen visible changes yet, but I rotate between other creams as well. It has not broken me out or given me any troubles. Sometimes when my skin is red, irritated and sensitive, I notice a little bit of burning/tingling when I put this on, but I assume that it’s the actives of the cream working their magic. Last but not least, the airless pump packaging allows you to use up every single drop of the cream, which is nice and sanitary. I would definitely recommend it, but I do think that the price is a little bit high. You can use code YEW608 on iherb to get $10 off your first order.

I chose this face cream based on its ingredients and expected it to have a texture and weight similar to the Mad Hippie Eye Cream. This means it is hydrating but lightweight and non-greasy. Like the eye this melts into the skin pretty quickly. And, though it doesn’t seem to be emollient enough for ultra dry skin or harsh weather it does a reasonable job at staving off flakes. I use it on top of a serum and under my daily moisturizing SPF and still have to mist with something hydrating after several hours, which is normal for me this winter. I expect not to need more help with hydration during warm weather.
I apply this over my entire face by pumping a little into each palm and smoothing it on from the center, covering my eyelids and undereye during that process. There are no warnings against using this in the eye area but you should always follow your own inner skin guru. Anyway, I swear this and the eye cream (which does have admonitions against eyelid use) have really helped my under eye. The area stays hydrated throughout the day, as does my lid area and above and the skin is more…flexible? It’s not the tight skin of a 20 year old, of course, but it furthered the progress I saw with face oils. I know…I know…who really believes a topical can turn back the hands of time? I have no such expectations but I do feel the formulation of this is friendly to my skin. That it might need to be layered for wretched conditions doesn’t bother me a bit.

Years ago, when I first time used DHC this has been a good experience. So I bought another one a few days ago. However,I don’t know the reason clearly, this time my experience is not very good.
My skin is a little greasy and DHC can hardly clean my face. Now,I have to clean my face by soap purpose in every several days.
But DHC is so easy to clean up,I think it is better used in summer.

Ladiesss !!! get your men this DHC Face cream….it’s hydrating, soothing, lovely texture and best of all NON parfumed or colored which mens mostly picky about. Great price and during winter time they can use it double with the Face Lotion. My guy loves this cream, he used to like Khiel’s Nourishing Lotion. Now this one, I like DHC one better. I like to put it on my hand, cos of the clean texture and feeling.

I’ve been using this product since last month and love it overall . But there is one thing that I am not fully satisfied. If I just read its direction, I understand that it can be used twice a day, follow the mad hippie vitamin C serum. But when I looked at its ingredient, I saw “Vitamin A Palminate” so I know it’s not a moisturizer that I would use in daylight. You know that the synthetic vitamin A compound found in moisturizer or sunscreen, contain retinol and retinyl palmitate, both found to react negatively in the sunlight, becoming toxic and lead to skin damage in its user. I always look in a sunscreen’s ingredient to make sure it is not contain vitamin A, but it’s useless if I wear this cream under my sunscreen.

Mad Hippie face cream is a very lightweight lotion that absorbs easily into the skin and does not cause my combination skin to break out. .Product label claims that it will smooth fine lines and create health skin. I did not notice any anti-aging benefits from this product. Also, it is not very moisturizing. I usually have to apply another moisturizer on top of this one. Will use up but not repurchase.

LOVE this face cream. Didn’t know how much I loved it until I ran out of it and started using something else. For 2 weeks I was like “What’s wrong with my face? It was looking so nice!” and then I remembered that I had used this face lotion – bought some more and my face is looking nice again. It’s a nice, simple moisturizer and I love it. I do all my “hard care” face treatments in the evening (vit c serum, retin-a, etc.) and love this in the morning for a nice simple moisturizer – with the added benefit that it makes my skin look nice. It seems to make my t-zone less oily and not make the rest of my face dry. Will definately buy over and over again!
