I also received this in my free gift with purchase. I have always wanted to try out a tone correcting product because I have a lot of acne scars. I was very excited to try it. I have to say that I was extremely impressed. First off, I love how Clinique’s products are always fragrance free. This product is also is noncomedogenic, which is perfect for my acne-prone skin. I was really nervous at first because it is very thick, and I was worried that it would break me out. I really love the thick texture. it makes it so you use less and I think it’s very moisturizing. I also love that it has 20 spf. After about two months of using this product, I can really tell the difference. My skin looks a lot more even. It is very effective. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Received this as a sample from Clinique and I will definitely purchase in the future. It’s great that it has SPF especially during the summer months. It is a thicker cream so I only have to use a little since I do have oily skin but this doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. I do have sensitive skin that can be acne prone and this hasn’t caused me to break out.

First it was great, then it was all downhill from there.
I got a free sample as a gift with purchase. The first few times I wore this, my face looked great: bright, smooth, calm. People actually stared at me! It seemed to absorb really easily and did not look oily later in the day. But after a few weeks, my complexion looks worse, and I blame the salicylic acid acid in it. Salicylic acid in any form (toner, cleanser, and yes, this moisturizer) turns my skin sallow. In this case, my face has turned red and irritated like it is chapped.
Had a great beginning but no, will not continue wearing this moisturizer/sunscreen/exfoliator hybrid.
BTW, I calmed and remoisturized my skin down by applying coconut milk onto a cotton pad and dabbed it all over my face.

I have a tub of this, been using it since February and i’m almost running out of it now (Aug).
Have been using this religiously! Hope In A Jar was my go-to moisturizer prior to the discovery of CLINIQUE’s even better. I have never been happier with it! HIAJ by Philosophy was great at first, but slowly it got too oily for my skin, within few hours of wearing my face would resemble a greased frying pan. So I stopped using it; i guess skin types do change..
So back to Even Better – I use it on daily basis, and nights where I sleep in an air conditioned room. Malaysia is humid/hot all year round. It does not make my skin oily; +1 !
It feels light and smooth, absorbs really quickly right after application; +1
Whenever I use it overnight after an exfoliation, be it Clarisonic or Face peel (Philosophy), i wake up having a very clear and radiant skin! +1
Major plus – it does not breaks me out! +1 +1
All in all, I would definitely purchase this soon when the tub is cleared!

I have loved this lotion, but I do have dry skin and am 42. In my oily 20s, it would not have been appropriate but I LOVE how it feels on my skin , how it looks dewy, and how it slowly improves my skin discolorations.

I used this in conjunction with the redness solutions soothing
cleanser but found no difference in the tone of my skin

I got this product as a sample somewhere, probably in one of my beauty boxes or with a gift with purchase.
First, I hate the packaging. I don’t understand with company are still using ja packaging… seriously, why?? It’s full of germs, it doesn’t keep the things active in it, and it’s simply disgusting. Second, this 15 ml jar has a double bottom, so visually you think that you get a lot of product but it’s not true, so you really have to look at the size of the actual cream in it to be sure.
WIth that said, this was not a bad product, but even for my sensitive and dehydrated skin, it’s too rich to wear during the day under makeup. I had to use it on day that I went to the beach and where I didn’t wear any makeup, or else my makeup melted. The texture of this product would be perfect for a night cream, but it’s too rich in the morning. Also, my skin stay really really shiny with this, I really look like I have sunscreen on!
I usually like Clinique, but this was a miss for me.

I bought the one in the pump for combination oily skin but this still left my skin with a horrible film over it. Hated the feeling. It also smelled strongly of sunscreen. It eventually burned my skin and I could not get it anywhere near my eyes. I do not have this problem with all chemical sunscreens so it has something to do with this formulation. The pump it came in was nice but it is a small bottle for the price. I will stick with my primer sunscreens from Chantecaille and Laura Mercier. Pricey but they do 2 jobs in 1.

Did not notice reduction of dark spots or lightening of skin tone but it moisturizes well. Did not cause breakouts. Jar container, however, invites germs each time I scoop some for use (even if I had washed my hands well). Maybe it lightens dark spots after more than one jar?? Won’t know as I won’t be buying another jar unless I try the lotion which comes in a pump.

This is just ok; it’s way too shiny for my oily skin & looks a little glittery. It feels really greasy, too. I also don’t like how it doesn’t sink into my skin. I have chronic acne & this doesn’t seem to break me out, but it is too rich for my skin.
