I have really sensitive dry skin. I tried some of my friends on my hand and immediately started itching and breaking out in hives I didn’t dare try it on my face.

I’ve been using this product for I want to say a month or two..I use this mostly in the Morning/Day under my makeup since it has an SPF in it. I don’t use this at night.. Sometimes I just wear this without any makeup on. It’s a thick cream so a little really does go a long way with this. I can see how people may think this to be greasy, but I have combination skin..& my dry spots adore the consistency. Just keep this away from your eyes, seriously, far away because there have been times when I put this on not directly around my eyes, but near it and my eyes started watering like crazy.

I started using this because it says it’s oil free and won’t clog pores…but it made my face really greasy and omg did it BURN. And I’m pretty sure it’s the reason for the 10 bumps on my chin and around my mouth. So no. I didn’t like this.

I have terribly sensitive skin and I have been avoiding using a moisturizer because every product I have used has either broken me out, or made my face an oil slick. I was able to get away with not using a moisturizer in my late teens because I lived in South Texas where the high humidity serves as a moisturizer, but I recently moved to Upstate New York where I quickly realized I needed a moisturizer due to the inability to even eat or smile without my face being in pain. After about two weeks of daily use, this moisturizer has not caused me to break out, and has dramatically improved the texture of my skin. It no longer feels tight or uncomfortable, and is actually smooth and soft to the touch! The SPF is an added bonus, it’s never too early to start! The consistency is neither too think or watery, and applies easily. It sinks in quickly and I have almost no shine throughout the day anymore. The only complain that I have, is that it has a faint sunscreen scent and I’m not too fond of going to bed smelling like I’m about to go to the beach.
My daily routine is as follows:
Morning:
I wash face with Dove Bar Soap and gently pat dry. Then, I use an over the counter benzoyl peroxide cream 5% to control hormonal breakoutsl. I wait about 10-15 minutes for the medicine to sink into my skin, then I use a pea sized amount of moisturizer on my face and as needed on my neck.
Night:
The exact same routine, except ONCE a week, I exfoliate with St.Ives Pink lemon and Mandarine scrub in (which replaces the Dove Bar soap) and use a homemade oatmeal mask (ground up oats and warm water) 2-3 nights a week. Lastly, I use the moisturizer on my face and neck.
I personally do not use a foundation makeup daily, simply because that too breaks me out. I do however use concealer, bronzer and blush.

I am forever trying to find moisturizers that contain SPF and don’t cause my sensitive skin to break out or get irritated. I am pretty pleased with this one. I’ve been using it for about six weeks now and what I like is that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight like so many moisturizers do (even those “for sensitive skin” often leave my skin tight and dry). This sinks into my skin well but also leaves it feeling dewy, soft and comfortable (it doesn’t “evaporate” as some moisturizers do). I can’t say it has necessarily improved my complexion, but it definitely has not made it worse or broken me out. For the cost, it’s a really good buy. I like the design of the pump bottle, too, though I wish you could get more out of it when you’re getting toward the bottom of the bottle.

I was looking for a new moisturizer to try out since I had ran out of my clinique one. I’ve never tried drugstore moisturizers, clinique was the only one I could use because it was so good to my skin. I had a coupon for this purpose moisturizer with spf in it now I hardly go out I’m always indoors, I’m basically a vampire I guess. Well anyways I got it because I had really loved the face cleanser and I had a coupon for this so I was like why not try it. I hate it. It feels so greasy and it’s like your applying sunscreen I mean of course it has spf in it but I just hated it. I don’t think it’s worth the price. It feels heavy on my skin, it doesn’t do much my skin was still dry and i will never repurchase this again.

This is the best moisturizer for the daytime! it is inexpensive, non pore-clogging, not oily, but still provides moisture for thirsty skin. Ieaves skin healthy, and is not heavily advertised, generally a mark of a product that can sell itself.

I’m with all the naysayers on this one. I never got to try out the old formula that everyone is raving about but I sure dislike this new one. It is so thick and heavy, leaves a disgusting greasy feel to my face and made my forehead break out in a ton of white and red zits. I have never really had acne in my life- until this. Thanks Johnson and Johnson! I will not be repurchasing.

Really liked this product. Was pleasantly surprised! Good amount of SPF for everyday. I normally wear a foundation with SPF on top

I’ve been a long time Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion user. Since I was 16 to be exact. My skin would get small bumps, like clogged pores and I never understood why. I started researching “non-comedogenic” and found out the truth about ingredients listed in non-comedogenic items.
Purpose’s ingredients has changed. Before, it used to contain octyl palmitate, which was rated a 4 (5 being the highest for pore clogging). Now, when I checked the ingredients, there’s nothing pore clogging about this lotion. They have taken out octyl palmitate. Yay!
So….yes, I would buy this over…and over again. This is a true non-comedogenic lotion.
