I used it two weeks, and havent had any problems with it yet, but I really love and miss their other night cream, which they no longer selling in Canada 🙁

Deep moisture is a misnomer. This is not a rich, soothing night cream like the Cerave in the tub, I was hoping for that effect without the pore-clogging that always follows my Cerave use. But back to this mediocre product, my initial reaction is mild stinging on my most sensitive area around eyes and top of cheeks, which lasts 10 minutes or so. The second problem is that the cream does not sink in well. Perhaps this causes the final problem which is it seems to exacerbate any puffiness around my eyes, so that I can look worse than if I put no moisturizer on! Not good for aging, sensitive skin.

I purchased this because my face was really dry, but I sweat a lot so wanted something for night time. This is so creamy and smooth. I love the slight fragrance it has, and it has never caused a breakout on my super sensitive skin. It really adds moisture without feeling sticky and it sinks in pretty quick. It sure helped resolve the dry patches I had on the sides of my eyes and is never irritating to the eye area.

PROS:
– nice, light texture that goes on like a dream
– decent moisture
CONS:
– I was expecting a bit more from its claim of “deep moisture” because I live in the cold New England area. It provides good moisture, but definitely not enough if the weather gets below 15F

I picked this up because I wanted a very hydrating basic night cream (I have dry skin from the Winter weather and tretinoin use). There are no particularly special ingredients (antioxidants, retinol etc) in this, so I wasn’t going to pay the full price (usually around $14.00 in store), but it was on sale for $6.00 at CVS so I figured I would give it a shot. Well, there’s really only one positive. It will moisturize your skin somewhat. Other than that, I really don’t like it. First off, it actually burned a bit, which I did not expect from a bland moisturizer and have never experienced from something without actives. It also pilled. The consistency is kind of a combination of creme and gel. Not a fan of tub containers, but I don’t see how this consistency would work well in a pump or squeeze bottle, so I am fine using a q-tip or spatula. Two lippies off for the burning and pilling issue. Also, it’s fragranced. Not taking a lippie off for that because it didn’t advertise as FF, but not a fan. FWIW, if you like the Chanel Hydra Beauty scent, it is pretty darn close_ sharp, floral, fresh. I find it a bit sinus stabby personally, and I will probably finish this off by using it on my feet at night because I don’t like the scent in my face. Will not repurchase. Going to get CeraVe PM next. I get the feeling this may be DC’ed soon, so it’s on sale a bunch right now.

First of all, I wouldn’t have tried this if it wasn’t on sale and I didn’t have coupons–it’s a bit pricey for a drugstore product when there are superior night creams/lotions available at a much lower price point (CeraVe PM, for one).
However, I have liked it for fall/winter use. The texture is rich but not heavy, which is great for my seasonally dry, flaky skin (needless to say, I would never use this in the summer). It is pretty highly fragranced, which will not be good for some, but I personally think it smells AMAZING, very floral, which makes the process of applying it a lovely experience.
In the colder/drier months, if I’m not doing a sleeping mask, I will apply this ~20-30min after my “pre-moisturizer” has sunk in (either Alpha Hydrox 10% or Paula’s Choice Retinol Body Treatment, both of which alone provide more than enough moisture during summer), then will massage the remainder into my cuticles, because why not. Also, I’ve experienced no irritation from this product.
This comes in lightweight plastic jar packaging, which, while nice enough, is prone to air/bacteria like other jar-packaged creams (another reason I prefer CeraVe PM, which comes with a pump).
Long story short: Would not use in summer, good for winter, lovely fragrance, but will not repurchase due to price and availability of less expensive and (IMO) superior products.

I was looking for a good night cream from Neutrogena and read good things about the Healthy Skin night cream. I ended up going with this one instead based on price (dumb) and it’s really not that great. Odd texture, kinda slimy. Takes a little while to soak into my skin. I do wake with fairly hydrated skin, but it just doesn’t feel like it’s doing much. I’ll use up the jar but then I’ll replace it with something a little higher end. I feel like in this case, the lower price connects with the lower quality. It’s not always like that but in this case I think it is.

Two words: Cystic. Acne. On the upshot, it does make a good hand cream after my weekly peel. Also, smells terrible. Boo, Neutrogena!

This is a mediocre product. Does its job of hydrating. I marked that if repurchase just because it is a reliable moisturizer. Def best for night time use and can cause a slight burning sensation your first few uses. I don’t mind the packaging though the sticker makes it look a bit cheap but it is fairly cheap so there’s that. Worth a try if that’s what you’re looking for.

This works lovely on my dry skin as a daily daytime moisturizer. It gives me a nice glow without unwanted shine and absorbs well into my skin. I don’t typically have to reapply this during the day. At night I use this as a night cream and put a layer of Vaseline over it. I happen to like the jar packaging so I am able to better control the amount I use, even though there is also more risk of contamination. This cream is not fragrance free, which could irritate some people’s skin, but I like a bit of fresh scent in my face creams.
On hot summer days I can see this being a bit much for me, but I’ve been using this daily for a few months now and love how it hydrates my skin.
