A hidden Nordic gem! This stuff has great ingredients and is so cheap. I’ve gone through countless bottles and just keep going back. I do not, however, recommend this as the sole moisturizer for very dry skin. I have dehydrated, acne prone skin that’s on the oilier side. I use it as a base moisturizer underneath my sunscreen and it just plumps my skin up and makes it look great. .However, during the cold, harsh, Swedish winter months, I’m combination to dry and this is definitely not enough for that. On my driest days I mix this with an oil and I’m good to go. Definitely worth a try for all skin types, including very dry skin provided you’re willing to mix it with a bit of oil.

This is one of my favourite moisturisers! It’s with its 18% fat content, it’s relatively heavy, so it’s perfect for Norwegian winters on my dry and sensitive skin. I also use it when I’ve over-exfoliated or blown my nose too often, since it seems to work well for calming down my skin when it’s irritated, and rebuilding my moisture barrier.
The texture is quite lovely, and it smells a bit of cream base since it’s unfragranced (I know this puts some people off if they’re not used to fragrance-free creams, but I like it). It absorbs well and doesn’t make me shiny. I’ve had no problems wearing it under make-up, but I rarely wear it so I haven’t put it to a thorough test.
This cream has a number of pluses that made me pick it up in the first place – it’s fragrance-free (which I strongly prefer), it has a nice hygienic pump bottle, and it has ceramides and nicotinamide. It’s not suited to people who are sensitive to fatty alcohols, but I’m not so it works for me.
The downside is that it’s a bit heavy for summer use, and in any case has no SPF. Also, if you haven’t used it for a while the cream will dry out a bit in the pump dispenser and you’ll have to pump an extra time to get the plug of dried cream out, which is a bit annoying.
The bottle is a good size, though, so it’ll last you a while, and I like the design. It’s simple, bright red and not super shiny. I’m currently on my second bottle of this stuff, and I’ll probably buy a third one once it’s empty.

On paper this moisturizer is perfect, it has Niacinamide, Ceramide and does not have harmful ingredients.
After a few days of use my face became very soft and I could use the moisturizer day and night because it was not too oily. I loved it.
But after the first week I started to break out in pimples on my chin that took a long time to heal. I don’t know which ingredient caused this, maybe the cetearyl alcohol, such a shame.
