So perfumed that I couldn’t handle it. Like Jergens, but more powerful. Also the package came nearly empty, even though it still had its seal on the tip. A huge disappointment, I usually really enjoy Nuxe products.

Anyone with allergies – beware! (I know this sounds dramatic, but I mean it that way.)
My hands are, as always, dry and chapped. I was shopping in Target this morning and I decided to try one of the “Try Me” tubes of this, because I thought it might to similar to Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre. This has a wonderful “whipped” texture that moisturizes instantly and leaves a non-sticky, smooth finish. It felt so nice, I overdid my sample a bit, unfortunately. After I had a regular amount of creme on the back of my hand, the fragrance hit me like a brick.
I LOVE perfume. I wear it almost all the time. I would be miserable in a scent-free world. However, there are certain ingredients that cause me to have nasty, wheezing, sneezing, tearing, coughing allergic reactions. It happened a lot when I was a kid, at holiday times, when all the Aunties wore fur-lined boots, velvet dresses, and bottles of Mitsouko, Cabochard, and Norell…I’m thinking it’s an ingredient that used to be hyper-present in chypres. (This idea has no scientific basis, as far as I know, and I digress.) It smells like a blend of Milkweed, carob, and boxwoods.
Whatever it is, this creme, which is packed with fragrance oils, has it in droves. Claritin is no match for it.

I LOVE this moisturizer. Yes, this is the rich version, and yes my skin is quite oily. But the thing is, while I live in the tropical area, during the work days I’d spend the minimum number of 8 hours a day in this air-conditioned office. I’m talking about freezing, drying cold air that would take away all of that moisture from your skin. Dry, DRY ITCHY patches *shudder*. Of course, the more dehydrated (dry) your skin is, the more oil your skin will produce to compensate that loss of moisture. This Nuxe cream awesomely ensures that my face and neck area is properly moisturized, and my skin’s moisture level well-balanced throughout the day, especially in a cold and dry environment.
One thing I definitely have to mention is the scent of the moisturizer. It definitely has this pretty strong, sweet, perfumed scent to it. I have a really sensitive, acne-prone, and easily clogged skin, and I was really, really hesitant in trying this moisturizer. But I went ahead! I tried it, and I loved it (the moisturizer and its scent as well)! I’ve been using this almost everyday for the past two months, especially during work days, and my skin is still LOVING this moisturizer.
