   I have mixed feelings about this product because for $134 usd for 1.7 oz, I expect more than a jar – it’s so unhygienic and the product degrades every time you open the jar and expose it to air. You also introduce bacteria if you put your fingers in the product. This should be in an airtight pump dispenser, and yes you can use those even for thick creams like this. So the packaging is total rubbish. Moving on to the product itself: Based on the name, does that mean there’s amniotic fluid in this? I would like to not think about that. Now that I have thoroughly trashed the ingredients, packaging, and outrageous price, I am slightly embarrassed to tell you that I plan to use this disgusting little treasure for all of my remaining winters. Because despite the description of this as being for oily skin, it has been a true saviour for my bone-dry, flaky, sensitive cold-weather skin. It does have an almost-matte texture when it absorbs but it’s somehow still moist. It wears beautifully under my sunscreen and makeup, and it keeps my skin plump and hydrated all day, despite wind, freezing temps and continuous indoor heating. It also doesn’t trigger my rosacea or cause acne. Up to now, the closest thing I’ve come to finding a remedy for my dryness/flakes at this time of year has been Neocutis Biocream Riche (also expensive but often available at a discount). That one has a shinier texture under makeup and it doesn’t completely get rid of the flakes/prevent new ones from forming throughout the day like this one. I buy this through Rescue Spa online, which guarantees authenticity. I highly recommend this if you struggle with sensitive, flaky dryness or if your skin is oily but dehydrated. Who knew that amniotic fluid was so magical? 🙂
