   EDITED: overall rating lowered from 4 to 3 lippies. This is just too sticky and makes me shiny that I cannot use in the morning. I don’t completely hate it but probably wont be repurchasing anytime soon, there are many other products out in the market that I want to try.

   This is a decent, light moiusturizer. It is more gel/serum like, kind of transparent, than milk. It is somewhat sticky, and the stickiness doesnt completely go away with time either. But this is not a problem for me since I always put a mattifying sunscreen on top. The price is very reasonable, and the packaging is great in a well designed pump bottle. It keeps me moisturized and doesnt break me out, which is mostly what I’m looking for in a moisturizer. 4 lippies instead of 5 because I’m not sure if the Q10 is really doing anything.

   Love love love this moisturizer. I’ve tried creams and lotions many times thicker and heavier, but this is the miraculous product that finally cured the dryness and flakiness on my face that I’ve dealt with for several years. I first tried it as a sample from DHC, and was stunned by the results after just one use. A day or two later I ordered the full size.

   It’s a light, milky gel that absorbs easily and pleasantly with no real discernible scent. If I’ve just used PTR’s Unwrinkle Peel pads or some other exfoliator, I smooth on a more generous layer before going to sleep and it just sinks right in without a hint of oiliness or greasiness. Since I started using this a month or so ago, not only have the dry patches and flakes disappeared, my skin has become smoother and my pores look smaller. I think it’s also reduced irritation from my retinol product. All of this without breaking me out. I don’t know if the miracle ingredient is actually the Q10 or something else, but for me at least, this stuff has accomplished what far richer creams failed to do!

   If you go to the DHC website you can request free samples. I know what works for one person may not work for another, but considering the amazing results I’ve gotten from this moisturizer and considering the samples are free, I highly recommend giving it a try, especially if you have dry, flaky, yet breakout-prone skin.

   One last note on packaging: Hefty, nice quality bottle. Just don’t try to pick it up by the clear plastic cap. The cap is not attached very securely to the rest of the pump.

   This is quite a unique product. I like the whole line of C Q-10

   This is not a garden variety day moisturizer,
   this doesn’t lay on a slick, shiny layer,
   but is a gel that applied over the C-Q10 lotion (toner)
   sinks right in, and dries with a MATTE finish!
   What more do you want?

   I’ve purchased the travel set, so I have the whole
   line of C-Q 10.. and it has made a difference in my
   aging skin. I have had severe rosacea, but this has calmed
   down the flaming redness, balanced the dry flaky areas
   and the shiny oily areas.. I do see a difference in my skin.

   Now, that being said, my skin is temperamental,
   and changes with the weather. This line suits late
   summer weather… but when it gets cold and blustery,
   I may need something richer and more protective for
   daywear. Stay tuned!
