Love this! HG for when my skin is mis-behaving. I have tried all 3 steps, did not find the other 2 helpful unfortunately but luckily this helps so much. Doesn’t clear my skin completely but it is the only thing out of many many others i’ve tried that reduces spot size within hours and stops the burning sensation when i have an acne outbreak. Can’t be without it!

Excellent product for my mild acne; it is one product I’ve repurchased many times. I can honestly say that it’s changed my skin for the better, along with my mild retinol cream. It is NOT a moisturiser so you will most likely still need a light moisturiser; I mix it with a very mild cream or lotion for sensitive skin (Eucerin Aquaporin Light is ideal) and my skin looks much clearer and healthier these days. On a night, I often apply it over my serum mixed with Cerave PM and my retinol cream. I’ve built up my tolerance to SA and retinol so peeling is no longer a problem these days, but I had to start off with very small amounts. Please see my separate reviews on the scrub and the pads. This is a great skincare range for mild to moderate acne.

Used to use Proactive….this has replaced my proactive kit.
I usually end up with a ton of toner and cleanser left over from proactive and not enough of the correcting/repairing lotion….I love this correcting lotion and this is all I really need. Love it.

Great product after cleansing using the avon clearksin professional cleanser. It does dry out your skin because it has salicyclic acid. All products with SA does dry out your skin so this is no surprise. Therefore I use it with a great moisturizer and it’s great! My only beef is that you cant buy it in stores…

This is the last step in the Clearskin Professional 3-Step System and it is a fantastic all-over treatment for my acne-prone skin. It is gentle, non-drying and absorbs very quickly! I was very impressed by its consistency on the first application. I consider this a treatment and NOT a moisturizer, I do think the name is mis-leading but I have often found that many 3-step acne systems call their third treatment step a “lotion”, and I suppose it could be for skin that is extremely acne prone because it usually cannot handle most moisturizers. However, I learned early with Proactiv to always follow the “clarifying lotion” step with my day or night actual moisturizer. When I used Proactiv their third step treatment lotion was awful compared to this, gloppy, drying, did not absorb well! In fact, Avon’s Clearskin Professional line is the first time salicylic acid has EVER worked for my skin—and this system works soooo well!!! I did a full review of the entire 3 Step System so you can understand the crisis my skin was in. This whole line has been a godsend for me! I also think this product’s packaging is excellent, the pump locks so you can easily travel with it and it’s a nice, slim bottle that doesn’t take up too much space in the medicine cabinet. A+, Avon!

I’m reviewing the steps of this separately since I don’t use all three of them…
Using this and step two, I’ve basically cleared up my skin in a matter of weeks. I’m really pleased with it. I use this lotion at night, and I wake up in the morning with clearer, baby-soft skin. I don’t use it in the morning, because it doesn’t contain a sunscreen. I think that has helped my skin from drying out.
The price isn’t too bad considering what so many moisturizers cost. It goes on sale about every other month, and I’ve been told it lasts for quite some time. I will totally rebuy this.
