I like the idea of this line, with its depolluting claims for skin. But like the reviewer below me, I just find the texture to be really bad and doesn’t work well with absorption into the skin. You really have to rub and manipulate to get it to work. Hard pass on this one!

GAH! Marcelle, why???? I love the City Tinted Cream, so I was keen to give this a go. In spite of the fact that it does ultimately give the skin a not unpleasant texture once rubbed in, this is a nightmare to apply–it’s grainy and cloggy, almost like bath caulking, and rubbing it in feels…icky. The smell is unpleasant. To boot, on Day Two, I broke out in huge spots. Gave this away to a friend who might fare better with it. I received this in a deeply discounted gift set after Christmas, so I haven’t lost much, financially speaking, but wouldn’t touch this stuff with a barge pole.

This product right here is HOLY GRAIL. It has a strangely thick, grainy formulation (use only a pea-sized amount even if at first it seems like you need more). I can NOT believe how much this product shrank my blackheads/pores literally overnight with the first use. I have 50+ year old oily skin with lots of blackheads, especially on my nose. My 11-year old tween has very dry, sensitive skin, but also blackheads on her nose. Her results were the same, but even better than mine. I am very impressed with this product. The tube is also TSA-friendly. We are both using this product with Marcelle cleansers (I am using the Ultra-Gentle Foaming, she is using the Ultra-Gentle non-foaming/creamy). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
