I have used Celtic Complexion cream for the last few months and have found it an excellent moisturiser for dry dehydrated sore rosacea skin. Despite the price, (and its not so much compared to other products) only a small amount can be used to good effect. The company tends to have BOGOF offers around Christmas time and March which enables you to stock up for a good few months so if you do buy the products at this time they are good value. Going back to the product, I can’t speak highly enough about it, it only has a few core ingredients. Its so rich you could get away with using it just once a day but I look forward to using it so much – it smells gorgeous and you only have to apply it to know that the ingredients housed in the product are going to make a difference. This product is only for very dry skin I would say other skin types may look to the celtic complexion serums also. I have tried to blend the ingredients used in this product myself many times without any luck, so beleive me its very difficult to copy only Jennifer the founder of the line has the receipe which must have taken her a while to perfect. Save your money and don’t bother trying to make it yourself and allow the experts to do it for you.

The products are great. I love the mission (organic/safe/non-toxic), however, their price point is way off base for the size and ingredients. All of these ingredients are readily available and easy to mix together. Do yourself a favor and create your own for a lot less.

I have been using Celtic complexion products irregularly, for about two years now. It is a brand I turn to when my skin needs extra help/calming/moisture. I have found better anti aging products for daily use, but for basic skin care, this brand is wonderful. This thick balm has a very simple ingredient list, which is typical of this brand. Quality, simple ingredients. The first two ingredients are shea butter and coconut oil. It is very rich and I haven’t really appreciated that until recently. The weather turned cold, the heating has been on more and my skin has become dry and taut. I have been applying this daily, expecting possible break outs from the coconut oil. None yet though, just hydrated comfortable skin. I highly recommend for super dry skin.

Let me just say that I have hemmed and hawed about posting a review for this line. Torn between totally wanting to share this moisturizer that I am in love with and realizing that since this company is basically a one woman show (from what I can tell) and thus shooting myself in the foot with availability if you all find out about it. So here’s the skinny – this is an all organic hand blended moisturizing cream that was created for normal, dry & sensitive skin. Here’s the REAL skinny – this is literally the only moisturizer I have ever purchased twice. You all know I’ve been around here forever and I don’t pull any punches with my skin care thoughts. This is uber emollient and although it might seem expensive at $52 for 2 oz, I would argue #1 that let’s face it ladies it’s about the same as a jar of Lancome and #2 unlike ANY other product I’ve tried, when it says you need a pea-size amount, you actually only need a *pea-size amount.* LOVE this line. SO HELP ME – if all of a sudden I can’t get my product after this review – I will stalk you all. 🙂
