Love this!
This is a lovely rich moisturizer, just the right thickness,I hate runny lotions for the face, and find them not hydrating enough, but this little beauty is perfect for my dry skin.
The scent is orangey and yummy,it doesn’t sting at all on my sensitive skin, even around the eyes.
Packaging is a tube and convenient for travel.
Will definitely repurchase if I can get it!

Catch A Wrinkle was my go-to moisturizer and treatment in one. This was the best anti aging product to be found – because it really works! Diminishes lines, moisturizes, evens skin tone and leaves my face looking radiant and healthy. I don’t know how they did it, but Catch A Wrinkle also has sun protection in the formula without using harsh spf chemicals! Now it’s gone 🙁
It never fails. You find a great product and it becomes discontinued. I stocked up but sadly I’m now out. I wish they’d bring this back. Nothing compares, believe me I’ve looked.

They’ve discontinued this… (see S&G website). I am so upset, it was my Holy Grail Moisturiser – my foundation ‘sat on’ it perfectly! It smelt great and it didn’t aggravate my acne-prone skin.
WARNING: do not buy ‘For Daily Youth’ which their Facebook page suggests as a replacement…it made my skin greasy and turned my make-up orange. And it has a nasty artificial peach smell! So disappointed, off to Boots to get my money back!

I was originally really impressed with my new smooth feeling skin, and really enjoyed my new morning skincare routine so I could apply the product. However, after a week I did notice breakouts on my T zone. I have dry and slightly sensitive skin, so for me to get spots is rare, but I was very soon bringing out a whole host of Clearasil products to try and resolve the product. Needless to say I tried removing the High Beam, before I stopped using the cream altogether and found my skin cleared up within a week of me not using the product. I did have a slight amount of tingling when applied to my skin, but was no more irritated than any other day or night creams that I apply to my face.
This product was also supposed to moisturise my skin, however during these cold February months I found using the Catch a Wrinkle in Time in the day, along with my Nivea at night my dry patches were persisting. This meant my skin now appeared combination to the outside world, even though I really only have a dryness problem.
Did I look any younger for using the product? Well to be honest, no, my skin did feel smoother but my fine lines didn’t appear improved. The tri-peptides and youth boosters seemed to have no effect on my skin either. However, I’m not surprised as the skin does not have large enough pores to absorb large molecules like these long chain peptides that are often contained in these products.
Will this product prevent me ageing? With the drying effect on my skin and total lack of SPFs and UV protection, I don’t think this is going to stop the clock. The strange thing is the smell is a citrus smell with a hint of sun tan lotion, so I was expecting a UV protection, very disappointing for a product that certainly wasn’t cheap. The best part of the whole anti-ageing claims is that the packaging advises you to stay out of the sun, avoid cigarettes, alcohol, caffeine and fun generally. I believe that it is this advice on the outer packaging that will prevent you getting wrinkles in any form.

I’m taking off a lippie because this actually doesn’t seem to contain any SPF. And after using it this winter I’ve noticed the beginning of a pigmentation mark which I attribute to me not choosing a day cream with one built in.
Its a real shame, cos if it had SPF I’d probably have found my HG. Its a gorgeous consistency, has a lovely smell that dissipates quicly, and makes your skin look good.
Sadly, I’m going to have to put this aside for daytime and switch to a high SPF cream. Am seriously considering keeping it on as a night cream though. Good moisturisers are hard to find!

I have to admit that I have only been using this product for a week but I felt the need to comment. The fact that the sole purpose of this product is to reduce lines and ageing appearence, I have to agree, it does the job well. I look for so many things in a moisturiser and often forget about what it promises on the label when I come to assess it! It does have a lovely smell and seems to have helped with small lines (possibly by plumping my skin a little), however, the reason I haven’t given it 5 is because it doesn’t do much for skin tone or wear that well under foundation. It also stings my skin a little.

Bought this because I love the night (in shining armour) cream and the promising reviews. Unfortunately this really doesn’t work for my dehydrated skin. After about 5 minutes of applying it my skin is screaming and withering away like a prune!

Great stuff. My HG (Eucerin Hydro-Balance) appears to have vanished from UK stores, so I went to try something new. This has been grand: very moisturizing out of the tube but feels lightweight on the face, creates no greasiness, has evened and improved skin tone over last month of use, hasn’t broken me out, and leaves my skin beautifully soft. Since I get white bumps w/ most drug store moisturizers (except the Eucerin HB), this has been a really pleasant surprise.
It has a burst of scent right out of the tube (choc-orange-ish, as others have said) but the scent doesn’t linger so it’s fine for me.
I like the tube packaging better than jars (easier for travel). And one 50 ml tube goes a long way — a dab smaller than a pea covers my face and neck, far less than I have needed to use of other moisturizers (Kiehl’s, Eucerin, etc). So I think this will turn out to be a real bargain at 10 a tube.
Another winner from Soap and Glory!
EDIT a year later: I’ve had to start using this very sparingly, if at all. I think my skin has changed (perimenopause will do that), but this is too thick for me now and even applied lightly I sweat it off. I’ve marked it down from 5 to 4 lippies. But it did work so well for me for a time, and I think the problem is my skin, not the moisturizer. Fair warning for those of you in hormonal uproar though.

How surprised I was to find a wrinkle-fighting product that actually worked! I hadn’t purchased it with any hope of getting anything beyond than a good, light moisturizer, but wow, did I ever get more than that!
I bought a set at Target with this, the Greatest Scrub of All and Off Your Face wipes, and I bought it mainly for the scrub (which deserves a five-star review itself, I have to say). I tried the moisturizer and was pleased with the scent, the way it felt on my skin and how it didn’t leave me feeling like I’d been dipped in oil. I left it by the sink, so when I was getting ready the following morning, I used it again because it was there. And again the next day. And the next. And the next, until about a week had gone by. Then one recent morning, I was getting ready and caught a glimpse of myself — little sleep, no makeup, still hadn’t washed my face (yikes!) — in the bathroom mirror
Now for the surprise: My skin looks fantastic! I don’t have much unevenness, redness or similar, but I do have large pores and am about to turn 33, so there are some faint wrinkles around my eyes and on my forehead (glasses-wearing ladies, wear ’em all the time and skip the squinting! I know I should). I took a good look in the mirror and saw that my skin looked softer, my pores looked a lot smaller, the little crease between my eyes that I dislike was noticeably fainter and — the biggest surprise to me — I looked what can only be described as radiant. Glowing: Not just for pregnant women or radioactive substances any more! Considering I’d had about an hour of sleep the night before, I was impressed to find myself looking anything better than recently exhumed, and was even more impressed when every day thereafter was the same. My face looks and feels better!
For the first time since college, I can get away with just tinted moisturizer and a dusting of powder and look fantastic. My husband even thought I was wearing foundation when I wasn’t, and all that’s changed is that I started using this moisturizer every day! I’ve really never believed that anything readily available and not outrageously expensive could truly improve skin, but let me be the first to say I was wrong. And how glad am I about that!

*update*
So, I have now been using this for many months and I consider it one of my HG moisturizers. If I came with the bronzing beads of Glo Job it would be my one true love.
I do not have wrinkles and I only have the slightest fine lines around my eyes… I’m the only one who can see them but I know they are there. This product minimizes them, I don’t know how, but it does. My skin looks amazing when use this.
So, for the love of Maude, Soap and Glory, please bring this back. I managed to scarf of 4 of them when I realized Target was discontinuing the line. But I will need more… someday.
Like!
Admittedly, over the past year or so I have become obsessed with this product line. I started out a Bliss junky and when I learned this line was from the same creator I decided to give it a go. Now, I scour Target every time I go.
So, it has only been a few days with the particular product but I can already see an improvement. Despite being of the advanced age of 36 (ahem) I really don’t have a ton of signs of aging on my face but what I do have looks better already.
Has a nice smell, absorbs fast, does not interfere with foundation application. Win.
