Let me start off by saying, if your sensitive to smells then steer clear of this stuff! Personally for me if a product works and doesn’t smell like straight up butt then I don’t care if it smells fruity or flowery. But I do know that the clay like smell this whole line seems to have will most likely bug others. I tend to use harsh cleansers on my skin at night to make sure I leave no residue behind so I usually have to follow up with a good moisturizer after. Does this stuff actually repair? I don’t think so, I’ve noticed nothing different about my skin since using this stuff besides the fact that my skin isn’t dry in the morning. Because it moisturizes really good, I’ll finish the jar but I won’t be repurchasing

For some reason this stuff breaks me out whenever I use it. My sister swears on this stuff, but for me it’s a no go. I like it moisturizers my skin in the winter, but isn’t worth the breakouts. I used it once last week and now I have 8 deep pimples in the area I used it. Right before senior pics. LovelyðŸ˜ðŸ‘Ž

I’ve been using this since December and am on the fence. The good is that a) it doesn’t break my moody skin out or clog pores b) the salicylic acid in it keeps my skin acne free c) seems to work well with makeup d) contains Dead Sea silt (which also keeps my breakout prone skin clear and is healing to the skin) and e) doesn’t cost a bazillion bucks. The bad is that I think it aged my skin as I’ve got these new fine lines going across my forehead. I wear SS and am as pale as a ghost as I don’t hang out in the sun. It really freaks me out that I suddenly got a collection of fine lines after using this product. I think the issue is the salicylic acid as it can be really drying and aging to the skin. Still though I can’t find many things that work for my skin. If I use something to moisturize then my skin breaks out and if I use something for acne it dries my skin out and gives me fine lines. It’s a vicious circle. I bought these because YTC uses Dead Sea salt and mud/silt in their products and after using Erno Laszlo’s black mud bar, it cleared up and healed my acne prone skin very well, I learned that my skin likes Dead Sea mud and salt. That and YTC is cheaper than AHAVA. BUT I discovered that as of this year, after reading a cosmetics industry info site, they are phasing out Dead Sea salt and mud in all their products due to pressure from political groups. In 2010 YTC was tooting their horn about carrots and Dead Sea mud/salt and now three years later they’re quietly taking the Dead Sea salt and mud out of the products without mentioning it to their customers. Irritating. Looking at the website I see that Dead Sea ingredients are still listed in the Carrots and Cucumber line, Cucumber has it listed as Maris Limus, so there’s no clue when the phasing out will be complete. I have one more unopened jar of this , one that contains Dead Sea mud, and after it is gone I don’t think I’ll be buying any more YTC products if they do phase out Dead Sea salt/mud. Might start looking into AHAVA due to them using Dead Sea salt and mud.
