I’m an esthetician and I’m always trying to products. I love the night cream, I didn’t care for the day cream. The nightcream makes my skin feel and look amazing . The toner is great as well.

I have eczema prone skin, so my skin reacting to a product is always a big concern- within a few minutes of application there is a tingling, almost burning, sensation on the skin- a patch test is a must with this cream!
There’s a definite floral fragrance to the cream, which can feel overpowering if you’re not a fan of floral scents.
Ive found that this has improved the texture of my skin on areas with more open pores, I can’t speak as far as improving wrinkles, but it has definitely made my skin FEEL smoother and more pleasant. The key word being FEEL, my skin develops some red splotches the day after use, if SPF if something you forget on a day to day basis, if it definitely something you need the few days after.
I’ve been using this product on nights before events for about 3 months and I think for a preventative measure for fine lines, it works well, but if redness is an issue to you it might be best to avoid- I’ll probably use it up but Ill be going back to my Palmers Night Renewal

Combination skin, classic T zone, dewy, dull, dehydrated cheeks but not dry or flaky. Sensitive skin and eyes.
Because of my skin I have to do a skin test, 24 hours before. Had no reaction from test so thought yay. Used my usual take the day off cleansing balm. Waited 10 minutes and applied this to right cheek, thank goodness I didn’t whack it on all over. Gently massaged onto cheek. Within seconds, cheek was tingly, burning looked in mirror and it was bright red. Washed it off straight away and soothed with cool water. Never had a reaction so quickly. Daft thing is my right cheek at the moment feels soft and smooth even though it looks blotchy and red.
I have super sonic sensitive skin, so this is not for me at all.
The cream in itself, is light, slightly fragrance which is okay. I didn’t need a lot for my cheek (thank goodness) and it absorbed quickly into my skin. I don’t like creams that come in a pot because of hygiene reasons prefer a pump. I suppose if you don’t have sensitive skin, this would be a good cream. It does say on the box it reduces the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles in four weeks. Couldn’t get passed 1 minute so cannot comment on that bit.

I now require a rich night cream for my combination skin. If I treat my entire face with a product designed for oily skin it becomes dehydrated and expression lines hang around. And, roducts specifically for combo skin don’t provide enough moisture to plump the skin. It’s a quandary since products for dry skin have potential to clog my gi-normous pores or cause breakouts. After going through a pile of samples from Sephora I settled on their Age Defying night cream but wasn’t thrilled with the ingredients. Fortunately I stopped by Target on my way to pick it up and a Boots rep was on duty. This cream is emollient but it sinks in so I don’t wake up basted with an oily sheen. There is a fragrance and it’s not 100% natural but it is working very well. I take it all the way to my under eye (over Fresh Seaberry oil or Boots Botanics Nourishing face oil) and can forego a separate eye cream. when I wake up only my pesky nose is the slightest bit oily. The rest of my face is normal – neither parched nor greasy. The price point is great, especially considering I thought I’d have to plunk down far more. Add to that, it’s available from Target and from Walgreens, where you can put it on auto-delivery. For now this is my one and only night cream.

I have used and sampled hundreds of face creams, day/night from drug store to high end to super high end. I have studied ingredients for years as skincare is a passion of mine. This night cream is one of the best I’ve ever used. It has a scent, but I like it. It has wonderful gentle yet effective ingredients and the texture is like velvet. Reminds me of Sisley global, but does not cost 700 dollars. I question the percentage of actives all the time, but have come to the conclusion that unless it’s an rx from doc, very few cosmetic companies will release that info. The bottom line for me is the way the cream feels, absorbs and reaction. I want my face to feel moist not greasy and bright without spots. Aside from dermatologist/plastic surgeon intervention, there is only so much a face cream can do. This cream ROCKS!! I love using it and get what I want from it. I don’t see many reviews for the Boots brand and would love to see this line favored more. This cream retains moisture all night. In morning my face is soft and not that gray look. I’m 48, nw15 skin with redness, and I’m seeing remarkable results. I really struck gold with this.

I got this to use after I use an exfoliator (chemical or physical) because I wanted something a bit heavier than my normal face lotion. It comes in a jar which isn’t my favorite but it’s ok. It’s very thick and moisturizing, but sinks in quickly without feeling greasy. It leaves my skin super velvety soft, I love how it feels. The turn-off for me with this product is that it has a VERY strong floral-y scent. I don’t generally mind scented products but this is overpowering. I love the way my skin feels from it so I will probably continue to buy it. If you’re super sensitive to scents, I wouldn’t recommend this.
