Loving this the past few weeks. I tried a sample thinking that maybe it’s a dupe for HABA squalane, and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a little more expensive than the HABA, but I’m fine with that as it’s vegan and HABA’s squalane is derived from shark liver oil (ew). I didn’t think it would feel half as nice, but it really is comparable and works well as a basic face oil for when my skin is irritated in winter. For some reason, my stubborn dry spots and the occasional eczema patch respond really well to things that gross me out — namely, HABA and emu oil — so I’m glad that I’ve found a comparable and more sustainable alternative for one of them. (I’ve given up on the emu oil. I’ll take the eczema over being paranoid that I smell like chicken fat to my bf when I kiss him after moisturizing. Sexyyyyy.)
I probably will try PTR’s version of sugarcane squalane once I’ve finished the Biossance sample (which will take a looooong time; I use like 2 drops for my entire face) to compare, as the PTR is cheaper. But I’m glad I purchased this one nonetheless.

So the bottle itself is really unique… The price is very expensive for such a small bottle. I would buy it again if I had extra money at the time. A few drops goes a long way. The first time I used this product my skin instantly changed by texture, it got super soft! I would recommend this to anyone.

This is a really great squalane that moisturizes well and can used under a moisturizer of alone. It is plant-based squalane really leaves my skin soft and hydrated. The bottle is very elegant and comes with a dropper dispenser that evenly distributes product. The only detriment to this product is the price, which is $58 for 1.7 fl. oz. This is unnecessarily expensive for a product that has comparative products at half the price.
