I had a horrible flare up of eczema around my eyes. The skin below the bottom lash line and inner corners was a red, scaly, itchy, dry mess. Most eczema creams are not suitable for skin around the eyes and I had a terrible time finding anything to treat this. I tried several high and low end creams and oils but nothing really helped. I changed my eye make up remover, face wash, eye products and even stopped wearing contacts. I was in such horrible pain at one point that I resorted to using anti-histamine cream which you should not use around the eyes but I was desperate. It did help with the itching but still didn’t clear up the eczema. I finally tried this and I am so glad I did. I applied this thickly around the skin on my eyes both morning and night and after just a couple days the skin around my eyes was noticeably better and after a couple weeks the eczema was completely gone. I can’t believe how well this worked for me when nothing else did. My eczema has been clear for 4 months now. After the eczema healed I did stop using this cream routinely and now only use it when my skin starts to get a little red or itchy and it soothes my skin–the eczema has not come back.
While treating the eczema this cream did sting when I applied it but it also soothed the itching. Now that my skin is healed, though, this cream doesn’t sting. I didn’t have any issues with it breaking me out but I don’t know if I would use it as an all-over, daily face moisturizer because it’s quite thick and seems like it could clog pores. As a treatment for eczema/dermatitis problems, though, this works brilliantly for me.

Delicious. Purchased after receiving the Manuka Honey Lip Balm from Dr. Organic, becoming more than mildly obsessed. Put the rescue cream on last night after a bath, went to sleep and ….. WOW. This morning. My skin was softer than a baby’s cheek. No joke.
Reminds me of La Roche-Posay’s Nutric Intense-In-Depth Nutri-Reconstituting Cream in thickness and performance. It is marketed as a product for dry, sun-exposed, sensitive, irritated and/or allergic skin. However, it’s in a pot rather than a tube, i.e. less hygenic. Also similar to La Roche-Posay’s Cicaplast, but not nearly as thick.
As other reviewers have said, suspect the cream may not suit those with easily-clogged pores, etc. And would not recommend putting on too much. You can easily over-do it, so just a little tiny dab goes a long way. Use less than a pea-size, just enough to sink into the skin. If the cream begins to feel too heavy, maybe only use a few times a week rather than daily. From experience, it’s the type of cream that is so thick that you daren’t touch your face too much (a bad habit anyway ;)) for fear of acne, but let’s see …
All said, on combination skin and in the right climate and season, this cream is an excellent performer, and I would rank it higher than the La Roche-Posay products mentioned (even as a loyal supporter of that brand).
Not everyone loves the smell, but I think it’s just deliciously amazing. Have tried many moisturizers (for fun, more than out of necessity), and this one is my favourite so far, especially heading into autumn and winter. Consistency is perfect, smell is sweet but good, ingredients are majority-natural, and the effect was shockingly good.

HALLELUJAH!
I had never had issues with my skin other than normal harmonal breakouts and a little too much oil-(I am 24). Then one day the neutrogena face bar for acne prone skin that I had been using for at least 6 months, gave me a terrible* allergic reaction.
So after the reaction calmed, I was left with imbalanced, troubled skin that reacted off of everything. I bought so many foundations, ranging from 10-45$, same with face washes, lotions etc.
my eyes were flaky and raw and red and swollen and I could no longer wear makeup because I wanted to scratch my eyes out. I’m a huge believer in organic products and tried everything under the sun, and they still didn’t hydrate my eyelids and it was starting to spread to my cheeks. I saw that infamous blog and took another chance since it’s only 12$ and it was the best choice I’ve ever made.
I love the smell, it’s very light, as is the cream itself. I put it on my cheeks and never break out. I wouldn’t necessarily call it soothing, but after one day, my flakes were gone. It’s been about two weeks and my eyes are pretty much healed. I only apply it once in the morning and when I go to bed. I will continue to buy this and use it daily even though my eyes are healed- because it’s good to keep your eyelids hydrated anyway. 😊
Don’t be afraid to buy, as it’s well worth every penny.
Thanks for reading.

I have dry eczema sensitive skin, sometimes my skin can be really nice for months but also really bad. Lately I was suffering from itchy flaky skin underneath my eyes and I needed something to sooth and hopefully clear it up! After some research on the internet this cream came up and since the price is not to bad, I bought a jar hoping it will help a little because nothing else did at the moment. This cream smells like honey, is white colored and a little goes a long way, it doesn’t rub out that good if you use to much! While this is absolutly not a cure it didn’t irritate my skin and I did notice my undereye eczema got a little better. As for hydrating goes, this is not enough at least not for me I really need something heavier to keep my skin moisturized and minimize eczema outbreaks. But it’s worth a shot, and I would actually repurchase this to use as a summer moisturizer but for autumn/winter the hydrating abilities just aren’t enough for my skin.

Eeeek! This cream is horrible for me! It smells nice and it goes so smoothly on my skin. At the first look , the ingredients look good: cocoa butter, shea butter, rosehip oil, glycerin, honey etc. but these butters, while good for some types of skin, clogged all my pores, gave me pimples and cysts. I also suspect the rosehip oil had somethign to do with it because my skin hates rosehip oil but I didn’t know then!
Those with oily, acne prone or problem skin- stay away.

This product does not work for dry skin as it describes. Do not use it if you have problem skin as it will do nothing and most times can just make it worse. It also has a terribly strong smell which is quite off putting on a morning.

I bought this product 2 months ago and it is honestly the best face cream I have ever used. I have very dry skin and this cream leaves my skin feeling moisturized throughout the whole day. It’s very thick so I would only recommend it to people with dry skin but it smells great and makes my face feel so smooth and hydrated!
One thing I would suggest though – let it sink into the skin for a little while first before you apply make up as it is quite heavy, even with a primer.

This did nothing for me. I bought it to moisturize my super dried out winter skin. It smells great and has a nice texture but failed to rehydrate my skin (I think it even made my skin drier). Too bad, because the smell really is delicious.

Great product. i was lucky enough to get it for half price as the box had been opened (not the jar, just the box) This works wonders for my skin, really hydrates it and leaves it so soft. i apply it in the morning and at night. You dont get a lot in the jar for the price (£8.25), but you only have to use a tiny bit at a time. the first time i used it i put on far to much and ended up with really greasy skin. you just need a tiny dab on your cheeks, chin and forhead then rub it in and after a while it sets in. so you definitely get your moneys worth. i would only reccomend this product to people with really dry skin, and even then, use it sparingly.
oh, and the smell is gorgeous!
