   The worst cream I ever got roped into buying. I bought it because they use Victoria Beckham as a plug to buy. It’s a very drying and expensive cream and another scam.

   There are many creams a million times better at a better price point that are more skin worthy and not lining the pockets of someone who has used a name to make himself rich. No punt intended

   I hate it because it works and is so damn expensive 🙁
   My skin: almost 40, oily, periodical breakouts, redness, started to loose it’s firmness.
   I started with the regular vesion, but also got the rich one to use it as a night treatment as the regular one did not give the hydration I needed.
   In about 2 weeks I started to notice the changes in texture, firmness, hydration and size of my pores. The redness was totally gone as well as excess sebum. My skin started to look healthy and much much younger. Initially what I have noticed was dryness and unpleasant ‘tight’ feeling, but decided to continue to see if things are getting worse or better. I’m glad I did.
   Believe me, I tried dozens of brands and products, including la mer, biologique recherche, murad, sebagh, epionce and this and epionce gave me the best results.
   it is very expensive, but now I can travel with cleanser and this cream and this is it. And one pump is what you need on your face and neck.
   If you can afford it, do yourself a favour and try it.
   Currently testing the body cream and looking forward for the results they promise 😉

   The Cream and The Rich Cream are marketed that they contain “TFC8”. This is not an approved ingredients name either in the EU nor in the US. It is an expression protein from yeast. Contributes to DNA binding activity and RNA polymerase III transcription regulator recruiting activity. Involved in 5S class rRNA transcription by RNA polymerase III. Localizes to the transcription factor TFIIIC complex.
   Can this do anything for our skin?
   According to Professor Bader, it can rejuvenate the skin and the skin will act more like a younger skin where everything functions as it used to and should.

   When it comes to the formulas, there is not much to write home about really.
   The Cream is an oil-in-water formulation containing skin barrier enhancing emollients and Ceramide and several humectants along with active ingredients and a peptide (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-8) that has documented anti-inflammatory properties.

   The Rich Cream is a water-in-oil formula that mainly contains triglyceride oils of natural origin and the peptide (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-8) with anti-inflammatory properties and basically not much else.

   I find both formulas poor and not very exciting from a formulation point of view. They also lack formula stabilizators which points to a less professional development of the products.

   I have tried both formulas and find them lacking moisturizing ability, difficult to apply and feel dry after absorption into the skin. I think in this price range it should be given to have a pleasant sensorial experience.

   The packaging, on the other hand is very appealing and functional while also protective of the ingredients (and actives, if it had any).

   I was able to get generous samples from CosBar of the regular cream and the rich cream. I tried the rich cream first, and it was just not moisturizing enough. My skin felt kind of irritated, red, dry and I did break out (which I almost never do). I then tried the Cream, and it just offers no moisture. My skin is so dry and tight that it’s very uncomfortable. I would have to use an oil and a moisturizer with this $265 product. I’m kind of glad I didn’t like them, big money saved.

   I have mixed feelings about this product. As someone who is always on the look out for the next best skincare I was intrigued when I heard about this. My skin is sensitive , prone to redness, and mild breakouts if I use the wrong products. My skin was going through difficult time because I had overdone it with chemical exfoliants so I was desperate trying to find something that was gentle, moisturizing, and calmed my aggravated skin down. I first tried tried the Regular cream but after a few days I noticed my skin had lost its glow, albeit the redness was reduced I noticed my skin was definitely drier. I ceased using it. A couple months later, I tried again, and while it defintley calmed my skin down I again noticed dryness; I researched the ingredient list and saw that regular old alcohol, the drying kind- was in the middle of the ingredient list. I was annoyed by this because alcohol is never good for your skin, it dries it out and causes inflammation. I decided since the cream had given me other wonderful results besides the dryness I would bite the Bullet and buy the Rich cream. NOPE. the rich version def does not have the same effect. My skin was red when I woke up , each time I used it, versus being calm with the regular cream. Besides that, I developed some zits in places I never get zits in, like my cheeks. Also my skin texture wasn’t very great, still dry.. which is weird but I think ,maybe its the lactic acid thats in there thats drying. So basically both creams resulted in my skin being dryer but the Rich one was a major miss, I wish I could return in. If you really want to get this cream DEFINITELY GO FOR THE REGULAR ONE, and perhaps add some oil to combat dryness. To be hones the nicest thing about this product is the gorgeous packaging , at least it looks good on my vanity. Other than that its a waste.

   I bought this with some trepidation, given the price. I decided to use the Bader Rich Cream on one half of my face and another moisturizer (opted for Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream) on the other half so I could see if there was an actual difference. Used as directed, morning and night, with no other products. At the two week mark, my husband spontaneously commented that he saw a visible difference on one side of my face. He did not know which cream I was using on which side. I pulled out a mirror and was shocked at how much less visible the forehead lines on the Bader side were vs. the Tilbury. Decided to switch to a full face of the Bader. Given the price, I really did NOT want to like this but I was struck by how great my skin looked. Just … brighter, healthy, plump. The lines have definitely become less pronounced. I am impressed. I find one pump per use is plenty. I started using it June 4 and it’s July 31 as I write this. Even though the Bader site says a bottle lasts six weeks, there appears to still be product in the tube, though my one complaint is that because of the sealed air pump packaging, you can’t tell how close you are to finishing a bottle. I will be 60 in a few weeks and am lucky to have very good skin overall – forehead lines, some crows feet, and faint lines at the side of my mouth. My skin is normal and I have experienced no issues with this cream in terms of breakouts or sensitivity though I have reacted to other creams and serums in the past. Though it’s not a thin cream, it doesn’t feel tacky on my skin once I’ve applied it and even in the summer heat and humidity I find it pleasant to use. Though it is definitely extremely expensive, I find the results worth it.

   Update: I wasn’t expecting this but my first bottle lasted me four months. I use one pump at night only and find that I am able to maintain and build on the results I saw early on. I found near the end of the first bottle that while the cream didn’t separate, it seemed more watery. It went on about the same and I had no issues in terms of tackiness or longer absorption. I am now on bottle two, which I started using at the end of September and I am anticipating/hoping it will last me about the same length of time. I used this during some very humid months and did not feel the need to switch to a lighter product. So having now used this daily for six months, I am still very impressed with the results. I appreciate it won’t be the same experience for everyone but I am very happy with what my skin looks like after using this and plan to continue using it.

   I purchased this product from Violet Grey and thought that the packaging was exquisite! It made my skin beautiful for the first month (using it every other night) however then the cream separated into the oil and white cream and the efficacy was compromised. It was disappointing considering the high price.

   Oh how I wish this wasn’t so criminally expensive. I also wish it wasn’t just so, so good!

   I bought this as a treat when I found out I was going to be spending time in hospital recovering from major surgery.. I’m so, so glad I did.

   It was the only product I needed to use after cleansing and within only a few days I was left with basically the best skin of my life, clear, hydrated, comfortable, that lasted all day – and that was in an air conditioned environment that would usually leave me parched and dull looking.

   I bought the trial pack of both the cream and rich cream and found the standard cream worked much better for my dry but dehydrated skin. The rich cream didn’t work as well for me, so it’s worth considering going direct to the website and investing in a trial pack of both so you’ll know for sure which one works best for you.

   Using this made my skin looked glowing, hydrated, happy and smooth. So, one less thing to worry about and a lovely silver lining during a difficult time. As a result this cream has a special place in my heart.

   It’s not ideal, it has no in built in SPF and it says if you want to use other active producfs then you have to let it absorb (which takes ages,!) the layer other products on top. Hardly ideal if you need to quickly get ready for work and put SPF on.

   I don’t think I’ve ever found a lovelier formulated face cream. I honestly don’t care if the claims are a load of nonsense, my skin loves it and I’ve not found anything close to compare.

   You do get beautiful packaging when you throw $265 down the drain. I’ve been using this snake oil for three weeks, applying at least once a day, and have seen no noticeable difference at all. I’ve been maintaining a healthy diet, no alcohol and low caffeine. I saw much better results with Avene’s Cold Cream, Calcifate Cream and Embryolisse’s lait creme concentre. You are paying for the marketing, not the product.

    Bought this in the 0.5 oz (15ml) size lighter version. It wasn’t the ‘hype’ surrounding this that drew me in but the ingredients – Retinol, 2 forms of Vitamin C and even ‘Ceramide NP’, Interestingly none of these are present in the ‘rich version’ which contains more emollients and less of the beneficial stuff. It’s very rare to find two formulations of a product with the one aimed at oilier and younger skin types to be the better formulation of the two!

    Anyhow, I used this daily as instructed, followed by SPF until I’d used up the product (just under 3 weeks). Did I notice better skin? Yes, a brighter, more even and slightly smoother complexion for sure. But…nothing out of the ordinary. In fact speaking of ordinary I could achieve the same results with an assortment of The Ordinary serums – Retinol, ALA or Azelaic Acid, and Vitamin C, and all for about 1/15th of the price of a full size jar of this, and would last much longer too! This is why I cannot give it 4 or 5 lippies, the price point is just absurd. Love the packaging but packaging does not make a product.

    Seriously, if The Ordinary’s various steps and layering seems like too much hassle, compare the ingredients of ‘The Cream’ light version side by side with Paula’s Choice ‘Clinical Ceramide Enriched Moisturizer’ – they are almost identical, plus PC is 1/4 of the price of The Cream and with 5 types of Ceramide rather than just 1. I know which of the two I would pick any day…
