This is best for winters. Super hydrating and very light weight. Your skin looks fresh and supple when you get up in morning.

Got my hands on a .017 fl oz sachet of this whilst my skin was going through one of its stubborn dry phases. I really like their Juliet Skin Brightening Cleanser, especially the natural ingredients and wanted to give some of their other products a try so I got my hands on a few sample sizes. This one also has lots of natural ingredients in it but more heavier on the essential oils – probably the cause of some of the negative reactions from other reviewers. I didn’t break out from this but I didn’t like the texture at all. It’s very ‘oily’ and doesn’t absorb into my skin in any way. I’ve often used pure Argan oil very heavy handedly and even that eventually sinks in, this however wants to go nowhere! Also worth pointing out that for all its ‘oiliness’ it didn’t do a particularly great job at hydrating my skin, about the same as your typical drugstore moisturizer. Definitely get this one only if you have dry or very dry (but not dehydrated) skin, your skin will probably love it, just don’t be expecting any miracles! For any other skin types I’d definitely suggest a sample size first.

Meh! Saw no spectacular results from the use of this product nor from any of the products from Antipodes in general. Antipodes is one of the better “Natural” skin care brands. Unlike many other organic natural skin care brands who use nothing but plant emollients and oils along with essential oils for fragrance, Antipodes puts the effort and includes various novel exotic Antipodean ingredients like Manuka Honey, a certain wine extract and various other ingredients.
Unfortunately human skin is too complex to be taken care of by a handful of novel, exotic “natural” ingredients from far off lands, that in this case do little than moisturise and scent the skin. The scent is from Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood and Patchouli essential oils.
This is a moisturising base of avocado oil, shea butter among other emollients that really does little else than moisturise well. If your allergic to essential oils or display any degree of sensitivity to fragrance I would tell you to avoid this product.
I will not be purchasing this product or any other products from Antipodes as it is simply not worth the money, purchase from this line if you want a dainty hand cream or body lotion or hand wash, spend your hard earned money on scientific proven ingredients from more elegant, cosmeceutical brands.

This is the first big thumbs up for 2019 in the skincare dept. I discovered this little gem after testing a huge sample that lasted me about 2 weeks.
My skin feels plump and hydrated after using tit, so much so that I can’t stop touching my skin!
It smells incredible – yes I love patchouli and sandalwood, it smells like a forest, so fresh and calming – and really moisturises my face and neck.
Yes, it is really thick therefore I apply it only on the drier areas of my face, as I have combination skin and this cream could be too heavy for my olier zones (T-zone).
It is so hydrating and nourishing, that it works magic on chapped lips. I used it as a lip balm and works wonders.
I love the fact it’s 92% plant based so very natural. So happy I found it, in the past I had bad luck with other Antipodes items, but this one is gonna be one of my staples for deep hydration.

I purchased this as part of the anti-aging duo. I used it along with the Joyous face Serum (which I had been using previously) and the cream soaked in really well and helped the absorption of the serum. When I woke up after the first night my skin looked amazing, really bright and I think I looked younger which I found quite shocking as I’ve never seen such a difference with a product. Unfortunately after a couple of days my skin started to become quite red and blotchy. I have acne prone skin and did not break out in pimples, but the clarity of my skin was affected. I think this product would be fantastic for someone older who is looking for the anti-aging benefits, however it was too rich for me so I discontinued after two weeks and no change. The cream itself feels and smells really nice.

Quite a strong smell of patchouli but was still quite nice and earthy. The cream is very rich and certainly is moisturising. So much so that I got a good case of ‘teenage acne’ well into my 40s. It went away as soon as I stopped using it (went back to the cheap but wonderful Aldi Caviar line) and sure enough the spots returned when I tried to use it again. Definitely an expensive mistake and sadly made me feel younger – but not in the right way 🙂

Ok im just gonna paste my review for the Vanilla Pod Day Cream here because i have the same thiughts:
I bought this and the avocado night cream after seeing Essiebutton raving about it, and i totally understand why she loved it so much!
It smells amazing, ingredients are amazing and it moisturizes my skin very well.
It is very lightweight and applies smoothly. Its a bit pricier on the official website so i purchase mine on feelunique.com and i think ots a very affordable moisturizer considering the size(2oz)
I just ordered my third jar of this and im just very glad that i have found the perfect cream for me!

I really like this face cream. Its quite rich as the other reviewers have stated. I only use a small amount and my skin really responds by being calm and well hydrated. Antipodes have such great products. It was feels luxurious. I also use their Kiwi eye cream which is absolutely divine also.Though I don’t expect miracles from products. I am just trying to maintain my skin. Another reviewer stated that they use PHENOXYETHANOL in their products. I have checked my ingredients list and they no longer appear to use it which is great.

I had a mini version of this cream in the anti-aging minis set, and I must say I am relieved that I didnt spend out the extra money for the normal size! Its a thick cream but isnt that greasy surprisingly, and I am sure it would be great for dry skin, but this product made my skin really red! I tried it twice and the same thing happened, very irritated red skin! I will just stick to using avocado oil as hopefully it still has the same collagen building effects and leaves my skin calm, plump and happy. Be careful of this cream if you have sensitive skin!

I LOVE this product, a little pricey but seriously beautiful.
I have acne-prone/sensitive skin so was actually abit surprised this got on so well with me. Its luxurious but doesn’t feel too heavy and rich on the skin, my skin looks really good in the morning and for me the most important thing is it doesn’t break me out. Winner winner chicken dinner for me.
Con – Its in a pot that you have to dip you’re fingers into which many argue is un-hygienic, so I use a little spatula for this 🙂
