This is more a hydrating gelly then a cream. When I use this as a cream it makes my skin tight and dry after a few hours. Would definitly reccomend to use a cream or more occlusive product on top. I find this to work well as a hydrating layer between cleansing and moisturising. Absorbs nicely in the skin without a film, leaves skin looking glowy and slightly hydrated. Do not feel like it has any added benefits like soothing or calming inflammation. Would prefer packaging with a pump.

I bought this along with the 92% snail cream to try. It describes itself as oil-free and “a range of ingredients that moisturize and brighten the complexion”. Although something with the name, oil-free, and the aloe hint it at being a light product, I wanted something for day use that wasn’t heavy. Plus, their Aloe Sun Cream is waaaaaaay too moisturizing, so maybe this won’t be as light as I think.
PROS: You know, it may be in my head, but I do feel my skin looks more bright or a little more even than I think at the end of the day when I use this. Also, this is another one of COSRX’s 3.4oz creams, so you get a lot.
CONS: This is really, really light. It is a gel texture, and just sinks in fast, so this would suit oily skin a lot more. I have the same problem with this as I have the Snail 92 cream, it’s just not moisturizing enough and even as it initially dries I can feel a tightness to my skin. Strangely, I think I can get away with this one more than I can get away with the Snail one, even though this one feels lighter. Really though, both of these products are way too light for my skin.
OVERALL: I think I’m gonna stop trying products from this brand for a while now. I find that their products are either too light or too heavy. Strangely, I do not hate this, and it’s that rare breed of GEL moisturizer so it would be good for oily skin probably.
