Received three 3mil samples of Guerlain Black Bee Honey Balm and I like it very much.It’s written on it: Specially formulated for skin that feels weakened and dry by extreme conditions such as cold temperatures,sun,hard water,humidity or cosmetic procedures carried out by a dermatologist..this intensely nourishing balm optimizes the skin’s revitalizing process,the skin is nourished and feels supple and comfortable.imperfections and wrinkles appearance significantly diminishes..it says apply to the face,body(hands,elbows,feet) or other problem areas
Lately I was suffering from Atopic Eczema on my face and that was a good time to try this product.it comes in black,tiny plastic tube,looks like the full size just it’s much smaller.it has a yellowish,thick texture and smells like honey and beeswax and I LOVE it’s scent.I use it as spot treatment because I have little amounts of it and apply it to driest parts of my skin.It’s very nourishing as it claims and there’s no sign of dryness for a few hours after applying it.even though it’s a rich cream,doesn’t make skin look greasy.I also used it around my eyes since my lids were so dry and flakey and none of my eyecreams worked.this one did the job without stinging or irritating my eyes and my lid’s eczema totally went away after two or three times .I didn’t use it on my body but I tried it as a lip treatment,also put some on dry,damaged cuticle and nail of one of my fingers.it was very effective in both cases too
The only reason for not buying a full size is it’s price and the fact that my La Roche Posay Lipikar Baume AP+ manages to do all these jobs plus calming down redness and itch of my skin while it’s 400 mils isn’t more than 20$..but now that these Guerlain Balm samples are almost finished I feel I’m going to miss it’s lovely scent and putting something that I know has Royal Jelly in it felt so good.To be honest I may buy it someday(also I’d love to try other products in Black Bee Honey line) if I have a dramatic raise in my salary because eventhough it’s expensive,a little of it goes a long way specially if you use it as spot treatment.

This is a rich balm that instantly hydrates. Its a very thick texture that does a great job at hydrating and plumping the skin. I use this on special occasions when my skin feels very dehydrated. I typically use it as a spot treatment every my regular night moisturizer and it does the trick beautifully.
