I wanted a light moisturizer that I could wear over sunscreen and under makeup. I was going to purchase a different product, but when I sampled this gel-like cream, I thought it would be better in the summer heat. It’s pleasant and light, absorbs well as long as I don’t use too much, and has a lovely true rose scent. It doesn’t leave my skin shiny or greasy like heavier moisturizers can, and it sits well under makeup (I tend to use tinted moisturizers or BB creams rather than heavier foundations). This isn’t a rich cream that I would wear in the winter, but it’s great for the hot, humid summers where I live.
I have moderately sensitive skin and I haven’t experienced any irritation with this moisturizer, or any breakouts.
The packaging is a simple jar, which I like as it’s easy to get at all of the product.
I will probably repurchase next summer, but will switch to a richer, more intensely moisturizing cream for autumn and winter.

I purchased the trial kit and I do not like this moisturizer because it does not moisturize my skin. I have combination skin and although I used the entire tube, I had to layer this cream and my skin still felt dry each time I used it. Will not repurchase.

This is a nice moisturizer that refreshes my skin and hydrates it (especially after the floral toner that goes with it), making it smooth and ready for makeup, with an almost tacky, primer ish texture when it dried down. Could be a bit more moisturizing, but over than that it’s a fab day cream. It’s nothing special, although it does the job. Overall a good product and I love that it’s cruelty free. Would buy again.

I have been using this for a week straight, morning and night. I had previously had terrible skin with obvious pores and no moisturizer seemed to work for me- they either would make me greasy and oily or would feel like they did nothing. This 1000 Roses moisturizer makes my skin look brighter and makes it feel so soft and hydrated without any oiliness! I actually have not had to wear foundation because my skin has been so nice since using this, only a little concealer on spots I have had for a month (darn you, cystic hormonal zits!) and even those spots seem to be clearing up finally. I want to try more of this brand, I love that it is natural and animal product and testing free. I will post an update in a few weeks to let you all know how it’s going.

I’ve been taking some supplements from an organic shop lately, so I thought to try out the skin care as well since it is organic and all naturals plus I am still having troubles to find the right skin care for me. So I bought this moisturizer paired it with the cleanser. Sadly this so called “Beautiful” Day Cream isn’t beautiful at all. It irritate my skin like crazy. I’ve been scratching my face like a monkey for the whole day. If that is their claims of “Beautiful” by scratching all over for the whole day then boy am I wrong. I thought maybe my skin need some time to adjust to this so I still continue to use it for few days and turns out my face gets even worse. Had super big itchy solid rashes. I don’t mind to pay more if it save my skin but sadly it does not. It was a tragic experience except for the scent. Lovely scent but evil product.

It’s unfortunate this day cream isn’t suitable for my skin type because I love the ingredients and what this company stands for. It’s very light weight but not hydrating enough for my dry and dehydrated skin. It also left a film over my face which I did not like. The packaging isn’t hygienic either. The scent is nice and it didn’t break me out. This would be more suitable to sensitive / normal skin types.
