I’ve never been one to spend money on razors. I figure a razor is a razor, plus it’s not like a fun purchase. I didn’t think they’d make much difference investing in one blade over another.
I went to ulta to stock up on the basic Gillette cartridges. Just the cheapest ones they have — what I usually get.
In my box was 3 of the classic Gillette razors and one cartridge of Gillette Venus swirl. So I don’t know if this was a padkaging error (likely) or a stroke of marketing genius.
Yesterday when I went to refill my razor I happened to reach for the Venus cartridge so I used that in the shower and HOLY CRAP.
A. I cannot ever shave without cutting myself. One of the many reasons I can’t stand shaving to begin with. The padded design made it so easy to glide over my legs and whatnot. I didn’t get cut at all. Nor did it even irritate my skin. No bumps either
B. I’m soooooo smooth. Like honestly as a brunette w a fair amount of course leg hair that has been shaving since age 11, I barely ever get a completely smooth shave. The shave where my legs are butt soft…. this gave that. I keep periodically touching my legs in disbelief. They’re so so smooth.
This razor is bomb. I’ll definitely be investing from now on even though these refills are like$10 freaking dollars more than the regular ones, I see now why they’re worth it.

I’m not sure why this has so many poor reviews! I actually love this razor! I got it at costco with 10 refills for $29 CAD which is an excellent value. I find that you do need to replace the cartridges quite frequently but overall it’s a really good razor.

And what else would a capital B for bullets be if you could hear what you were saying? Now it’s the corner where Smith’s claim came from. This is where this area was at, where every New Yorkers’ Second Amendment rights have been violated. Not to mention every person who has even had the privilege of opening up a gun should take that chance and run with it. Once we go back to Smith’s quote, let’s go back to the 1920s.
Speaking from London in 1914, Smith would make a fair point on politics. As a civil rights leader, he was trying to protect the moral dignity of men like James Baldwin. He wanted to build some kind of ‘colourful wall’ to prevent “criminal irresponsibility” by allowing for the police to carry firearms in locked car doors and park them in cars. It was very much an effort to remedy the problems of black men for which guns were the proper defence. A racist wave took place. When a local prosecutor was calling for the abolition of black clubs in response, he asked his friend Lieutenant Randolph Nelsen to step in to stop it.
It seems like such an opportunity came too late. After getting the government to agree to prosecute what Nelsen claimed as ‘the most racist deed in the United States’ he began his latest round of requests from citizens to the courts to finish their trade associations.
Nelsen issued an appeal, demanding that he not withdraw his request for his barristers to have him prosecuted. He had designed his barristers, in the words of Arthur Morris, a criminal intent to inflict pain, suffering, pain, despair and total humiliation upon people who oppose him. He wanted to criminalize all non-traditional avenues of association, including voting and union right to that which he considered to be right.
Fortunately, the
17th Precinct and Martin Luther King Jr. petition did not go into effect until 1932. All that had occurred was for Nelsen to invite his client, Thomas P. Sanders Jr., Jr., founder of Smith’s Barristers Club in Liverpool.
The NAACP, included in Nelsen’s petition, was held against this addition of whites to the group. The motive for demanding his removal from the legislature was religious, rather than the legal. While all they had to do was force Nelsen to reduce his targets and members to pre-judgment, it would be well foreseen that his requests would be

HORRIBLE I spent $20 AU on this and I broke out in a awful shaving rash so harsh on the skin. Never experienced this with any other razor.

I’m obviously in the minority here as I thought this razor is fab. I haven’t been able to shave my legs for a while (gross I know!) so this new razor had its work cut out and I was very impressed! It glided over my legs, knees and ankles easily and removed all the hairs without a single nick. My legs were left feeling very smooth and silky. I liked it and will definitely continue to use it.

I bought this razor earlier today all excited because I’ve heard great things from beauty gurus on YouTube. Well… They must have been getting paid a sh*t ton of money to promote how “amazing” this razor is…BECAUSE IT SUCKS!!
I used the razor with a shave cream, and still got little nicks and cuts everywhere, especially on the back side of my thigh (and I never get any with my regular razor, Hydro Silk). The razor burn with this particular razor is horrible. The sound of scraping across your skin is enough to drive you mad. It has this “comb” which is supposed to direct hairs into the razor, which doesn’t work because this is the worst shave I have ever gotten. I still felt stubble after one pass, and I went back in with my old trusty Hydro Silk. Thinking about using this razor on your bikini area? Forget it!! All in all this is the worst razor I have ever purchased and was not worth the 14 dollars and it will be going straight in the trash. Don’t waste your money!!

I bought this several months back when a bunch of youtube ‘beauty gurus’ raved about it. Really wished I left it on the self!!
I got nicks with this, and yes, even being careful. I kept having to go back over-and-over several spots because it was missing the hairs!!
Will stick with my Gillette Venus Sensitive Skin razor!!
Would not recommend..not worth the price, and does not even do a good job!!

This razor was so hyped up, that I had to try it. Lets just say, I will NEVER buy it again! The refills are expensive, and the only thing I like about this razor is how “pretty” it is. Even when the blade was completely new, I got razor burn. I just used up the first blade on it and even though the pack had 2, I will be throwing the new one away.
I get razor burn both on my legs/underarms, and I have to go over each section multiple times and I STILL have stubble left over. I will be returning to my favorite razor, the schick intuition! I also tried the purple shaving cream that goes with it, and that is pretty good but the razor itself if a huge disappointment especially for the price.

This is the latest women’s razor from Gillette. It has a rubbery purple coating on the handle so it doesn’t slip, 5 blades, and a “Flexiball,” this silver joint between the handle and the disposable head that is supposed to flex and “adjust” to your curves. Well, I just took a shower and shaved my legs with this thing, and I honestly didn’t notice any flexing. I appreciated the coating on the handle, but while I ran it over my foamy legs, it made a weird screeching sound and felt flimsy. I much prefer my men’s Excel razor which has a nice heft and doesn’t make any alarming noises. This got the job done, but it’s no great shakes. I tried it because after the coupons (CVS scanner & mfgr) and ECBs, it was only $1.
