I bought the pair “STRIP DOWN” from the Ulta website a while back during their 21 days of beauty sale (paid around $15 for them) and I have to say I completely agree with @Susanner ‘s review. These lashes are so beautiful, I always get so many compliments when I wear them but honestly after the 5th-6th wear, these lashes were unwearable. The glue is so hard to take off the lash band, I actually ended up ruining my pair when I tried to wash the glue off 🙁
Super beautiful, but personally they are not worth the price. I am glad that I got them for 50% off.
BTW the packaging was nice in my opinion

Velour has new invisible band mink lashes which are supposed to be softer than the regular cotton bands, so I ordered “DREAM GIRL” from their website.
Style: I love the style of the lashes, very long and wispy. However, I noticed immediately upon application that they were not symmetrical. It almost seems like both strips were meant for your right eye. The difference is most evident in the inner corners. It makes my eyes look unsymmetrical. I’ll have to trim it somehow to make it work.
Comfort: I can not wear regular mink lashes because the thick, stiff cotton band makes my eyes red and swollen… So I was super happy that these invisible band ones did not irritate my eyes at all after a full day of wear. They feel like real human hair lashes, very comfortable. I hope more companies start making their mink lashes with clear bands.
Packaging: The packaging was beautiful and by far the best I’ve had for lashes.
I submitted a similar review on their website and surprise, it never got posted. Don’t trust all the positive reviews on there.

For the price, I expect the packaging to be better. However, the Mink lashes looked quite natural. I would consider repurchasing if the price was lower.

These lashes are okay, i know the price is the way it is because they are made of mink lashes. I wore it last night and I was disappointed. It’s not life changing girl, it looks just like your regular human hair lashes. My trick is that I double stack human hair, it looks just as 3D and fluffy as your typical mink lash. TRY IT OUT LADIES.

Ever since I first tried a pair I couldn’t bring myself to use regular lashes again 🙁 These are just the best. I’ve had mine for more than a month now and I use them daily. Downside is they’re a bitch to clean. I really have to be careful when removing the glue. I use a pair of tweezers and I pull the glue very slowly just to make sure I don’t ruin the band because once you do that’s when the hairs start coming off. I’ve surpassed the 25 wear mark. I actually bought six more lash styles since my first purchase. These are my HG lashes and I will continue using them until I’ve found something better and cheaper.

I’ve bought several pairs of Velour lashes over the past two years and they really are very beautiful. The mink hairs are glossy and wispy. The problem I have is that I cannot get more than three wears out of a pair. I am a daily lash wearer (conservative styles). I can use my favorite Kiss lashes (KPE08) non stop for over a month f without any problem but not with these. I would love to wear them more often and would buy them all the time if I could get the glue off them without breaking the hairs. I’ve even tried the Velour glue. I would love to hear if anyone can wear them multiple times. If anyone has any tips on how to make the last longer please PM me!!
