I like this so much more than similar sponges that everyone else seems to love. Beauty blender, real techniques and others. Plus, it’s pretty cheap.

A truly wonderful blending sponge. It’s bouncy, there are a number of surface options to choose from – a fat round edged bottom, a pointy tip, and a chiseled off flat angled area. I even like the pale lilac shade the sponge comes in. Cleans easily with Dr. Bronner Castile Liquid Soap. Probably one of my favourite sponges because it blends foundation in (liquid or stick) so that it looks like my skin only better. Will choose this over other sponges every time.

4.6 lippies, deserves a round up to 5, because it’s way beyond a 4 lippie product, performance and price wise. I have purchased at least 15 original Beauty Blenders over the years in all colors, and also have the dark green Ecotools sponge, fuschia Loreal sponge, and the RT orange sponge. The Flower Beauty sponge is the closest BB dupe in my opinion, and I have already purchased 2 more to have as back ups. My favorite prior to this (as far as BB dupes, because the original real BB is my fav) was the Ecotools green sponge, but I like the Flower Beauty one a lot more… It has the closet feel to the BB, blends beautifully, cleans well, and doesn’t soak up a lot of product.. For under $10 @ Walmart its my new go to next to the original BB . Definitely recommend. ❣????????

I like the texture and application better than my real techniques sponge. However, this sponge is too big for my face. The tip is too wide when damp which makes it really hard to get a precise application around my under eye and nose.
I’ve used this sponge to apply setting powders and concealers and it works great for both! I just wish the tip was a bit narrower so I could have more control. Sadly, I wouldn’t repurchase this sponge because I mainly just wear concealer (no foundation) on a daily basis. Therefore this sponge, while otherwise excellent, doesn’t fit my makeup routine.

I wish I could give this a 4.5. To me 5 means it’s pretty much perfect… even though this is close.. I can see improvements. Probably the biggest issue I could see this being for some people is that it’s almost too squishy if that makes sense. To explain what I mean better, think of a knock-off Beauty Blender and why almost all of them are terrible in comparison… They are too stiff and don’t have the bounce the BB does. Well this Flower sponge has almost too much “bounce”, squishyness or softness. It feels amazing, don’t get me wrong. I want to always have one just so I can squeeze it. However, I feel like being of the consistency/composition, it takes longer to blend things because it’s so soft… I definitely still think it’s worth checking out and it’s great for powder… I just find it hard to replace the EcoTools green sponge which has become my HG. It’s the only thing that beats a Beauty Blender, to me.

Ultimate 3-in-1 Blending Sponge sells for $8.95 at Walmart.
The sponges I use are the Flower Ultimate 3-in-1, L’Oreal Infallible Blend Artist Foundation Blender, Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, PÜR Contour Blending Sponge and Beauty Blender. I like them all but the Flower sponge is the one I have been grabbing the most since I got it. I love all of these sponges and it’s a matter of personal preference I guess. The PÜR is much harder and less porous than the others but I prefer it for some foundations, it just seems to work better with them and gives a flawless finish.
If you’re a devoted fan of the Beauty Blender I think the Flower Beauty sponge is worth a try. It’s pale lavender and has kind of an hourglass shape. A part of the top is cut away to make a nice level edge which I use for the under eye area if I’m in a hurry and don’t want to grab my smaller sponges. The bottom is rounded. It feels very similar to the Beauty Blender in softness and density but when you wet it, it’s softer. It’s less than half the price of Beauty Blender and I would say it’s closest to the Beauty Blender of all the ones I use. If I had to rate the ones I use most on a scale of 1-5 ………..
Flower -5(because I like the shape much better than the Beauty Blender), Beauty Blender- 4.5, L’oreal-4, PÜR- 3.5 or 5 (for certain foundations that love it’s very fine surface), Real Tecniques- 3. The last couple Real Technique sponges I purchased just don’t seem as good as my older ones, not sure why. I also like the L’Oreal Infallible Blend Artist Concealer Blender mini sponge better than the Beauty Blender Mini.
Ones I tried that I do not like are Morphe, E.L.F.(horrible), Tarte, & Eco Tools.
