Use this with caution if you have sensitive skin. I broke out in large red swollen welt like blemishes almost immediately after using this instrument of torture not to mention the pain which I could handle but I still have a nasty blemish a week after using it . I thought at first it was the result of different cleansers I had been testing out but I just used it again and I could see three more starting to swell. I cleaned it with alcohol after each use too. One point because it does take the hair out but will take little hairs out that don’t need to be removed. (my other reviews are under the name electralights).

It took me a few minutes and a few minutes of frantically watching videos to get the hang of this, but once I did, I loved it! I was looking for an alternative to waxing my upper lip at home, which I find to be messy, and it requires equipment that I can’t bring with me on a trip. Waxing also makes my skin break out sometimes. This works really well and reminds me of threading. It’s portable, discreet, and leaves no mess. Much easier on my skin than waxing. You hold the coils against your skin, turn two knobs, and move the coils back and forth over the area. It takes a few passes in different directions to pick up the hairs. One trick I picked up was to hold the tool so that you are turning the knobs IN. When I held it the other way, the tool did absolutely nothing. Minus one lippie because mine didn’t come with any instructions whatsoever. The tool also came with a set of mini tweezers, which are pretty good tweezers. For me, this is a must have!

I would be lost without this tool. It is so much less trouble than waxing, shaving, or tweezing. You just move it over your face while turning the knobs in the correct direction. The first time I used it, it hurt a little. But since the first time there is only a very minor sting. The hair grows back much slower than with other methods of removal. It is also finer. I have even cleaned up under my eyebrows with it but you have to be very careful doing that. Perhaps the company should make a smaller version for eyebrows. The cost is about $20 but when you consider what you would spend on other hair removal methods, it is a true bargain because it will last indefinitely.

Don’t waste your money. Wouldn’t even score one if I didn’t have to

This is horrible! First of all, I’m not sure if I bought a faulty contraption or what but the top, which is supposedly to be used for smaller areas such as the upper lip, does nothing! The sides remove hair but not fully. Some hairs aren’t removed but just shortened. It requires going over the area a few times.
This does not feel good! It’s not super painful, but it hurts. You are basically ripping your hairs out by the roots. Especially since you have to go over the same area about 10 times to get any sort of visible result!
The icing on the cake is that this made me break out very badly. I washed my face before and after using this. The next day I broke out like never before! Large and painful acne. Never again will I used this, waste of money for me.

YASSS!! This Tweezerman tool has become a staple in my beauty routine. I was always somewhat self conscious of my peach fuzz on my upper lip. After doing my research, I was the most interested in this tool. I went into Ulta and purchased it for $20. It also came with a pair of tweezers which is handy. This removes the hair efficiently and makes my skin baby smooth. It IS going to hurt as it’s ripping out your hair, but I find it’s not even uncomfortable anymore. I use this when I have no makeup on, then wash my face after and apply makeup as I normally would. My makeup goes on 10x smoother and overall my skin just looks better. I think this is a tool every girl should have. I keep it in my makeup bag and I’d be lost without it!

To me this is a joke. Awkward to handle. Painful. Waste of money. However I am happy for the ladies who get this to work.

This thing is pretty good. It does hurt though because it rips the hair out by the follicle. I don’t mind though! If you do kinda mind the pain and the tedious pulling this isn’t for you. I do think it would be easier and cheaper to just buy a waxing kit. Especially if you are using it for your mustache or some place on your body that doesn’t have very thick hairs.
