I usually wash brushes in shampoo or body wash but thought I would give this product a try.
This is a very watery detergent, high in alcohol, and doesn’t foam very much. I found it to be useless at cleaning brushes unless you soak the bristles in the liquid (and I wasn’t sure if the high alcohol content would damage them) but very good at cleaning sponges. In fact it was much more thorough and quicker at cleaning sponges than previous detergents. I do use foundation sponges every day so I always have to clean them often. I would recommend this product for this purpose only. I won’t be buying again as I need something that cleans brushes also
