It works. I have been using it on and off over the last year, and I was impressed at how refreshed it made my face look: relaxed, just more youthful overall. The effects didn’t last longer than a day or two at most, but that’s probably my fault because I was not using it consistently. HOWEVER, I have to discontinue use because I developed a weird pain in my forehead, overall sensitivity, stinging, and headaches. I have been reading in online reviews that others have had adverse effects, someone even a serious nerve reaction. Overall it’s not worth it to me to take the risk. Company definitely fails to disclose this properly.

Probably one of the best investments I have made.
If i were to buy it again, I would probably invest in a trinity rather than another mini. I had gotten it for a special deal at a Hand and Stone I am a member of and they did not have the trinity there.
My jaw line and fine lines around my mouth have been impacted most around this product. After a couple of weeks of use, I could see a noticeable difference. It helped me gain more confidence in my appearance. I am happy there is a non evasive way to take care of skin at home that works.
It is a must to be gracious with the gel primer. If not, you will feel the pulses and chance getting burned. There are two. I find more success with the regular gel primer rather than the one you can rub into your skin when you are done the session. The rub in one seemed to dry up faster than the regular gel primer, which needs to be wiped off.
If you are not sure if you want to buy this, you can go to a hand and stone and they offer it as an upgrade or something with a facial. It’ll make the facial a little pricier, but at least you can feel how it works. You should be able to feel a difference when you pull at your skin too. It feels firmer.

This product ABSOLUTELY WORKS. I’ve experienced a notable difference–others have noticed too.
I very diligently use it (5/7 days a week) on the highest level only and follow a personalized regiment I devised after watching various YouTube videos targeting cheekbones, forehead and nasolabial folds.
To be clear, if you stop using the Mini, the results fade and they fade fast! But they also are regained fast. I’m in the second month of use and supposedly on the third month I can decrease to 3x/week.
In my opinion, you don’t need the larger version of this at all or any of the attachments (that target face, eyes and other regions).
I’ve subtracted a point because:
– After lifting around my lower and upper eyes, I found that I would later have violent spastic eye attacks. As soon as I stopped targeting these areas, it stopped.
– There is some pain on thin-skinned areas such as the forehead.
– I’ve developed at least 1 skin burn mark that has gone away in 2 weeks or so (with the help of La Mer). BUT this is a testament to how well the product works that I’m willing to get a little burn now and then.
DO NOT NEGLECT to buy the extended warranty. I haven’t experienced any issues, but the boards have stipulated otherwise.

I read every review I could find about this product and bought it hoping that it would perform a miracle, or at least a mini miracle and help my face look firmer, plumper and younger. It did none of these things!
I used the Mini for about 5 weeks. I’m 49. I have sensitive skin and I use Retin A. Using the Mini did not break me out, nor make my skin clearer. Nor did it work.
I used aloe vera gel as the conducting agent instead of the product it came with because I did not want my skin to break out. The aloe vera gel worked fine.
I used it 5-6 days a week for 10-20 minutes at a time. At times, it did leave a slight reddish tint to my skin (irritation). The top of my cheek at the bone also plumped ever so slightly but it did not even last 24 hours. The areas around my nose, mouth and lower cheeks showed no change at all and I spent a good 10-15 minutes there daily.
Besides the fact that the mini really didn’t do anything at all beneficial to my face, the charger is a piece of crap! After ten minutes of use, it takes over 48 hours to fully charge again. That’s ridiculous. Every time I tried charging it, it took 2 1/2 – 3 days to fully charge so I almost never bothered to fully charge the device.
Luckily, I purchased this from Nordstrom so I was able to return it. I sadly do not recommend this product. It is not going to help reduce wrinkles or plump up aging skin, and I believe we are all better off buying moisturizing, plumping and firming creams than wasting money on the NuFace Mini.

Let me just state up front that I have some truly rare facial conditions in addition to the usual signs of aging of a 48-year-old, so I may be expecting this little device to do more than it really can. Also, this review may be a bit premature since I have been using the Mini for only about a week at this point (5 treatments total), aiming for at least 5 treatments a week over the course of 60 days as the company suggests. I probably just need fillers or perhaps even a procedure or two to get the results I’m after, but I decided to try this device for the heck of it.
Since I have the Mini, I cannot use the attachments that are available for the Trinity, which IMO is kind of a bum deal. I take it that the eye attachment is meant to reduce the current so one can use it around the eyes without seeing flashing lights. I would love to be able to use it around my eyes but cannot so am careful not to bring it into the “eye socket” area. I get as close as I dare and have never seen any flashing lights. I have also not gotten a metallic taste. I do the basic and advanced treatments. They do not seem to take that long.
I have taken before and after pictures and see NO difference. Nada, zippo, zilch. As I said, perhaps it is too early. I didn’t really expect it to make a difference to observers, but I thought it might do something that I myself could notice – but nope. I see nothing and have not gotten any remarks from anyone about looking different, either. Alas! The only “result” is that after use I feel a mild “tightening” feeling in my face for a few minutes, but it goes away quickly and does not seem to translate to a visibly tightened appearance.
I have placed a reminder on my phone to come back and re-review after 60 days.
