Hi, just wanted to let you know that yes this is a awsum product and it is $50 AUSD but you can find LeTan have come out with their own exfoliating mitt – self tan exfoliator, and i picked it up for $8.99 AUSD at chemist warehouse. random find but so glad i found it!!!!! its sustainable, (now cheap) and product free. its a total must!

The reviews are true! You will actually see dead skin peeling off! The only thing is, you will have to play with it first to find the technique that works for you. The first time I used it, I followed the instruction on the box but nothing happened, but then I tried it with my skin slightly towel dried and using the dry glove and using more pressure. Amazing! My skin is so soft!

People beware. I went to price attack to repurchase this glove, which I absolutely love, only to find that the company has completely changed their product. It is the same name, and same packaging however they have CHANGED THE MATERIAL that they originally used! Now they have this really really thin and flimsy fabric, when I touched it its about half or a quarter of the thickness of the orginal glove. They have also dropped the price also, it used to be $50 AUD now its about $35 or $39 I dont remember. I would not have noticed the change to magic peeling glove had the store not had out samples of the glove.
I have no idea if stores are still stocking the original peeling glove, or if they company has decided to scrap the expensive version and replace it with this cheap flimsy stuff that I cant imagine will do anything at all.
PLEASE NOTE MY REVIEW IS OF THE ORIGINAL MAGIC PEELING GLOVE THE ONE THAT IS PICTURED ABOVE, not the cheaper flimsier version the company has now released
I love this product and I am desperate to find it as my one is due for replacement,
Its a little bit pricey but definitely worth the investment if you have a love for exfoliation like I do. Gloves like this are used commonly in various countries just like we use soap and loafahs, which I think is interesting cos I really cant see why its so expensive lol
It takes a little getting used to though, the instructions on the pack I think are a little vague. But what I found worked best was this:
Take a shower as per usual. Gently towel off excess water off your skin. Remain in the shower as it will get messy and you will have to wash the skin off the floor. Wet the glove but give it a good squeeze so that its not dripping and scrub in an up and down motion not in a circular motion like we are always told to do so. The trick is the amount of water/dampness that will make a difference. If your not seeing chunks of dead skin rolling off then your not using the right technique. Shower after the scrub to get all peeled skin off.

I don’t know how this works or why it works. When removed from the packaging, your first thought will likely be that you have been ripped off.
It looks like a flimsy piece of polyester. Trust me, it’s so much more than that.
If you follow the directions, you will literally be amazed (and grossed out) by the dead skin that comes rolling off your body. And how ridiculously soft your skin is afterward.
There’s no need to use it everyday; it won’t work everyday. But for a once weekly treatment, wow.
I’m in the market for another one so I can have one for both hands and be done faster.

$50???!! dont want to boast but i can it get where i come (algeria) from for less then a quid. As much i love this i would never pay that amount for this, not even £10. i do love this but is increasingly rare for me to get this as i live in the uk. But everytime someone i know goes down, i always make sure they get us back a bunch. basically best used when your skin is damp and the dead skin literally rolls of the skin, pretty gross but effective.

I can’t believe no one has written a review for this product! The price has probably put a few people off (Aus$50), but let me tell you, I use basic house hold ingredients for most of my beauty regime, and I could not justify spending big $$ on moisturisers etc, but this is one splurge I will happily pay!! I have tried cheaper exfoliating gloves which are OK, but this glove is the bomb. If you want the silkiest skin ever, give it a go! (make sure you follow the instructions…i.e apply force in one direction only, use after warm shower when skin is warm and softened, and don’t use “in” water-as in under the shower) Love it, have had mine for over a year now, already have a spare in the drawer.
Note: 2 years later and this is still one of my favourite things! Other gloves and exfoliators don’t really compare – I’ve finally uploaded some pic’s of the original – it’s hard to track down, I usually have to go online to find it – but definitely worth it.
