I purchased this at Sephora and it is a very hard sponge, similar to those cheap triangle cosmetic sponges Sephora has for the public to sample makeup. It’s not quite that hard but similar EVEN when wet. When you wet the sponge, instead of it becoming softer to “bounce” the makeup into your face, it barely changes at all. I don’t like the flat, square edge that tends to leave imprints when you’re trying to use it to apply foundation. It is very small and the flat edge is good for applying makeup underneath your eyes but a mini beauty blender will do just fine for a much cheaper price. This will be returned.
