   I picked up this facial brush at Winners for 7.00$ CAN in October 2015. Woo, one year! The packaging was beat up but the brush looked just fine. The price said 7$ bargain instead of 15.99$ retail price, so I figured why not. There was a small hole in the packaging designed to poke your finger into and feel the bristles, and OH MY GLOB. It is so, SO, soft. I bought it because I figured it would be a gentle way to gently exfoliate on a daily basis without scrubbing my face off, and the bristles are so soft and tightly packed even if I didn’t use it for cleaner I might have just rubbed it on my face/neck for a relaxing feeling.
   When I brought it home I sprayed it down with 70% rubbing alcohol to disinfect it after having so many people’s hands stuck into it (I assume). I also washed it wish soap and water when it dried to be safe. I would suggest anyone do this when first buying it and occasionally in between uses (depending on how often you use it).
   The handle is a soft-touch plastic, with the brand stamped on the back. It’s shaped a little bit like half of a yin-yang symbol. It has a little nylon (I assume) rope to hang it up from the handle.

   My first use was with a foaming cleanser. It makes a very small amount of product go a long, long way in my experience. Personally I don’t like foaming cleansers (from what I’ve tried), so it made a bit too much lather when I used my normal amount of face wash on it. That also made it a bit hard to rinse out after, as the soap was buried deep into the ends of the bristles. I quit using it for a while because of that, but started using it recently with my Neutrogena Creamy Formula cleanser. I use pretty vigorous circular motions to move the brush over my face and neck, then rinse with cool water.

   I rinse it in lukewarm water while running my fingers through the bristles, then I form an O shape with my ring and index fingers to squeeze excess water out of the brush. I’ll also rub it on a clean facecloth (gently) to remove some leftover water, and lay it down with bristles up to dry. It does take a little longer than I would like to dry, but I tend to mist it down with rubbing alcohol a few times a week in order to keep bacterial growth at bay. I would highly suggest storing this away from moisture (not in the shower, preferably hanging up) to keep overall bacterial growth to a minimum.

   I have been tempted to try using this as a brush to buff in moisturizer, but decided against it. Product would probably build up in the bristles and I would have to wash it each and every time (2x a day, most days). I DID once use a heavy cream cleanser with it, and it basically just soaked up all the product, leaving a greasy mess in the brush.

   Enough of my experience, here’s a more formal pros and cons list (from my experience)
   Pros:
   Compact, good for travel
   Easy to use
   Cleans effectively but gently
   Could be used with foaming/non-foaming facial cleanser (except oil)
   Comes in several colors (Pink, blue, and black)
   Sturdy string to hang up from
   Uses little product to create lather
   Gentle, does not irritate skin

   Cons:
   Long drying time
   No carrying case/pouch
   May be slippery to use in shower or with bigger hands
   Needs to be disinfected regularly
   When replacing, the whole brush has to be replaced

   All in all, this is my subjective experience with this brush. I am in love, head over heels and will absolutely be buying again if/ when I wear this thing out. It’s a little pricey but so far, so very, very good.
