I grabbed these while standing in line at Sephora. I normally use ELF blotting sheets (either the sheer ones or the newer mattifying blotting papers with kaolin which are great) but you only get 25 in the ELF ones, boscia gives you 100 sheets.
Well, I’m not a fan of super thin, sheer blotting sheets. They work fine, but I feel like my oils make the sheet greasy and you can feel the grease on your fingers/through the sheet. I rather prefer to use the ELF thicker mattifying papers (which aren’t so sheer) or even a single ply piece of toilet paper (the super super cheap toilet paper) to blot my face than super thin blotting sheets. It’s hard to press the sheet over areas, I feel like I’m just blotting my own oils all over because the darn sheet is so thin. You do get 100 sheets, but because of how thin they are and how the shine seems to penetrate through – I use several just so I don’t blot oils back over my face, so you go through more at a time.
I’ll stick with ELF once I use these up, but would not repurchase. ELF’s also have a dusting of powder that distributes as you blot which is awesome at longevity of makeup.

Made out of 100% natural Abaca leaf fiber, these are a natural option to those of us who have oily skin. I would rate these mediocre, as they do remove your makeup in the process and you must use them frequently. They are about $10 at Sephora, which is not too expensive. The scent listed (Peppermint, Vanilla, Green Tea, etc.) appears to make no difference in terms of performance, only in the smell. The carrier is made out of thin cardboard, so it rips apart before the sheets are exhausted. Not as good as Shiseido Pureness Oil Blotting Sheets, but a natural and cheaper alternative.

These are the most excellent blotting tissues I’ve tried in the last couple of months by far. I’ve been on the hunt for a new brand of blotting tissue to replace the ones I was using previously from The Body Shop and I think I’ve found them. Seriously, these are AMAZING!!!! They soak up every last bit of excess oil on my face, don’t mess with my makeup, are substantial enough that they don’t rip or tear while doing so AND they are huge!!!! They are $10 a package but that’s a very good deal considering you get 100 sheets and each sheet is the size of two regular blotting tissues from many other brands. Well worth the extra few dollars in my opinion.,
My only complaint is with the packaging, I’d love to see a company come out with a bit more substantial packaging since these are such a delicate product! I can tell the flap closure will tear pretty quickly but that’s a minor blip. Overall I’m pretty impressed and I’ll definitely be repurchasing these. LOVE!!!!
