I’ve had this cleansing device for 2 weeks thanks to the Sephora VIB sale and have been testing out all 4 speed/style settings (2 recommended on each side). The cleansing side has silicone nubs all over it and depending on your preference there are either low or high consistent vibrations to work the cleanser in. The other side has a wavy looking raised texture and options for short or long pulsing vibrations to massage serums and lotions or oils into the skin. I like the shape of this device better than the Foreo, it has a round head with a medium length handle to hold. I wish the rechargeable version was available at Sephora but it wasn’t so I got the battery operated one. It comes with one AA battery. This is a completely different experience than using a Clarisonic – and if I’m being honest, I prefer the feel of the Clarisonic over this, I just hate having to replace the brush heads, and I don’t like the new ones with the combination of bristles and silicone pieces intermingled with it. The PMD is not the most pleasant feeling on my forehead area, it probably feels most comfortable on the fleshy part of my cheeks and literally nowhere else. I have manual silicone scrub pads that I enjoy so much more than this device. I imagine it does a good job cleaning your skin so I have only knocked off lippies for my own personal experience with this. Would I repurchase? No, definitely not. In fact, I will be returning it.
