I love blotting paper because my skin can get really oily during the day. These sheets do the job quite nicely. I have the purple and orange packaged ones. Now I don’t mind paying whatever price for a product but these are expensive considering the fact that its basically glorified sandwich wrap. I mean I’ll keep buying them cause they absorb oil fast and don’t mess with your makeup.

These are good and absorb oil without messing with your make-up, but I find they are expensive for what they do. I’ve found cheaper alternatives, so I won’t buy this again, but it is a good product.

Suck! These are hard to grasp and hardly soak up any oil at all. I don’t know what NYX is thinking with these. They are made of some material with a sort of shiny finish that make it even less likely to blot oil. I really am baffled by this one.

These are a good size and they absorb oil well without removing makeup. 50 sheets in a packet. They don’t have any powder on them, which l miss. I dislike the packaging – it comes with a heart sticker over the closure, which is hard to remove without ripping the closure. For some reason, l also don’t like the fact it says ‘Be sexy’ on the back of the packet… I just want to mop up oil for goodness sake!

Over the years I’ve become quite the connoisseur of blotting paper and these by NYX aren’t too bad, they actually work very, very well!!!! I like the way they just soak up the oil instantly and there’s no powder on these either to give you that funny powdered look after you use some blotting papers.
However…they’re so small and so thin you need and least two or three of them to get the job done. Now, I do have very oily skin which gets cray cray in the summertime especially so I need a heavy duty blotting paper but I’m sure I’m not the only one?! If only they were a big bigger and had a bit more substance to them they would be amazing. NYX, are you listening?! I got the peach colored Tea Tree oil sheets and they smell lovely. Unfortunately the packaging is flimsy too, the tab tore off in just the first few days of having these in my purse. Overall I’ll use the package I have but I probably won’t repurchase just because they are so small and thin.

I purchased these because they were on sale at Ulta and I was a bit devastated when I opened the packaging and saw that these are just basically tissue paper. They do what they are meant to, just not very well. I’ll use them until they are gone but I won’t repurchase them.

I have the lavender and the orange one, there was a deal at Ulta if you buy 2. I bought these instead of my usual Clean&Clear because those are getting to be pricy. Eventually I started buying the Target brand (20 more sheets for a cheaper price) and both those brands work well. I wanted to try something new so I purchased these NYX ones. I don’t get why the reviews are so low. I have pretty oily skin but this absorbs it all up. I use both sides of the same sheet and it sucks all the oil up and leaves me fresh faced. Works just as well as Clean&Clear IMO and these come out cheaper too. Will repurchase.
UPDATE: I went quite a few hours without doing anything to my face, and by the of the workday I had to use like 3 of these sheets! I only used 1 sheet with Clean&Clear or Target brand. I think my original review was skewed because I used the NYX sheets after a few hours, not a whole day. The oil soaked right through and I had to use additional sheets. Not impressed. I’ll continue to buy Target brand blotting sheets.

I would definitely NOT buy this again. I am throwing it out. Both sides are shiny, and they do not get off the grease. I bought two other brands of blotting paper, and they worked fine. I usually make my own blotting paper by cutting up (into usable size pieces) certain types of paper that some stores use to wrap breakable purchases in. I use the matte side of the paper on my face if there is a shiny side to the paper. This do-it-yourself approach to blotting paper is my favorite, and works wonderfully well.

I picked these up on a whim at my local drugstore for under $2.00 dollars for 100 sheets. They do a perfectly good job of removing oil without disturbing your makeup. I also like that they aren’t powdered. I removed one lippie because they are kind of small and more than one sheet wants to come out when you’re removing them from the package. Other than that this is a great product.
Edit: I’ve discovered that blotting paper is great to use in the morning before you cleanse your face. This is especially true if you used cold cream the night before or just over did it with the night cream. Personally I like to use a very mild cleanser in the morning like Aquanil or Cetaphil. However, these cleansers don’t cut through oil very well. Blot first and problem solved!

I have the green tea sheets. These work sooooo well! To test them out I used them after my greasy makeup remover wipes and it soaked it up completely and my face is not the slightest bit oily!!! I use them when I’m a little bit sweaty and they truly work!

I really like these. I don’t understand why the ratings are so low. To be fair, this is the only type of blotting paper I’ve tried to date, since I don’t have a very oily face and never really found a need for blotting papers. So maybe I just don’t know what I’m missing? Recently though, I underwent surgery and after that my face started getting very oily. It’s started to calm down now, but I still like to use these papers to prevent shine from creeping up in the afternoon. They are very thin and sheer, not in a bad way, and they soak up a ton of oil! I didn’t even realize I had that much oil on my face. I guess the only downside I can see to these is that 1 sheet gets used up VERY quickly. For me it’s not a problem because 1 sheet will take off most of the oil, but for those with oilier skin I think you’d have to go through quite a few to get a satisfying result. I’ve never noticed them to take off makeup as long as I’m actually blotting and not wiping. So it seems as though these tend to work better for those with mild to moderately oily skin – if that sounds like you then I’d definitely recommend. 🙂

I don’t really have oily skin, but I decided to pick up some blotting sheets just for my rouge skin days. Ever since I started using these, I can’t stop! I’m always surprised at how much oil it draws from my skin, even though I typically have dry skin! Since I’m mostly dry, I only need to use them once or twice a day. But they don’t mess up my makeup or smudge anything, and they don’t leave a powdery residue or anything like that. They’re super cheap, and totally worth it! Going to be buying NYX blotting sheets for life!
