Fairly priced, easy to find Cotton rounds from CVS. You only get 80 in a pack – some brands is 100 or 120 so check your prices. This one does not shed too badly but I use them mostly to apply toner and facial products and not to remove nail lacquer (too much fraying for that).

For nail lacquer remover I prefer gauze 2 by 2 squares – no lint, no fraying, no shedding.

But for a quick swipe of toner? These are fine – and not too “scratchy”.

These are the best cotton rounds I’ve found lately. I use Shiseido’s cotton pads to remove my facial makeup, but prefer a round pad for my eyes, and these are great. They are very soft, fairly thin so they don’t soak up a lot of product yet get the job done, feel good on the skin, and don’t pill or shred. They’re about $3 for a pack of 80 (CVS also offers a larger pack of 240 for $6), but they can be much cheaper on sale. I’ll be using these for removing eye makeup and other miscellaneous beauty tasks as long as the quality is as good as it is now.
